I told my wife about the job at Wendy's
I've seen supporting posts on glp before and sort of brushed them off, but even if that's the case, thank you.

I think that some of what pissed me off so bad was that with ALL of the places I sent a resume to, this was the only one to contact me.

She got up all that long ago, and I walked the dog and couldn't figure out how to break the news to her so I got her in the car with me and went up to Circle K for some smokes. We got home and I just mentioned it in passing. I knew when I met her that she was perfect. She's a nurse, she visited me in the hospital, she's beautiful. I could tell that she knew I wasn't happy about it, she was more worried about my pride.

I'm not going to smack myself by wearing a suit and tie, but I have a nice car and a house we don't make payments on, so when I get there Monday morning, I'll be able to hold my head up.

I don't know if life without her support would drive me to the grave, but I don't think it would let me drive me to Wendy's.

The time I spent making and replying on my other post was time spent figuring out how to do this.

At 8am, I'll be dropping her off at the hospital for work, and I'll go to my interview at 930 :)

don't take it so badly, it's not forever

I don't judge people who work whatever job, I just go in and get my burger or whatever I'm after, I don't ever wonder about who works where and why, putting your best effort into something is what's important

think about what's good in your life now, realize that TPTB have unleashed this shit on us and changed the world, it wasn't your fault, it's impacting all of us

watch some comedy, maybe some old Super Dave stunt videos

good luck with the interview
Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads.

As soon as white people start working fastfood, it becomes quality again, consider yourself a re-conquistador of lost and forgotten lands of your heritage.

Theyll probably fire you to make space for diversity robotic hires anyways.

Well, now you're going to find out if your wife is hypergamous or not. I wish you luck.

“Hey, I started out mopping the floor just like you guys. But now... now I'm washing lettuce. Soon I'll be on fries; then the grill. In a year or two, I'll make assistant manager, and that's when the big bucks start rolling in.” (Coming to America)

In all seriousness.... fast food general manager makes 6 figures annually. With your attitude and love for your wife I bet you’re a GM in no time.

None of them are interested.

Simply having the will to actually want to go out and work and be a productive member of society these days put you far ahead of the game. Work is work, good luck man.

I worked in daycare centers for 10 years.

It was considered menial work by the parents who treated me like shit, but I was there for the children's well being and it felt like meaningful work to me.

If he wears a bra, he might.
My boyfriend had a job interview as a cashier at a seasonal shop. They passed on him. So we casually went to see who they did hire. It was a chick with dyed blood red hair and a man with a beard, a bra, and ponytail.
