I agree with you OP except one thing. I've been involved with cryptos for almost 8 years and it's done me well. I've converted crypto into real, tangible things.

My roofer took crypto for my roof, it was all profit from my original investment . SD Bullion took crypto for my larger orders on PMs, and Ive accumulated a smattering of other things that I've bought with crypto like a shitload of survival food and generators.

I do agree that at some point they're going to pull the trigger on Bitcoun and other coins. I've migrated into privacy coins like Monero and Pirate Chain, but that's all profits I'm playing with now.

I look back at crypto and yeah, it's insane that people are trading 1's and 0's back and forth and making money but it's been a great tool and a force multiplier on my money used for preparing and accumulating wealth away from fiat currency.
