Marine fossils’ discovered on top of Mount Everest ‘could be proof of Great Flood’

There is overwhelming evidence of a great flood. There are stories from hundreds of different regions and cultures that all talk of this flood. I truly believe that at one point in time the world was completely flooded. They've already found the water. It's about 1000 miles below the ground and apparently there's waaaaay more water than what's in our oceans.

If someone is suggesting that Limestone formed during a great flood, then we are talking a flood lasting multiple human generations.

Alternatively, we can reference tectonic theory where the Indian subcontinent at on point was separate from Asia and has since drifted and collided with Asia, uplifting parts of land and formally sea into what is now the Himalayas.

It's not proof at all. Tectonic plates move all the time and hundreds of thousands of years ago, the top of Mount Everest was probably the floor of a sea.

And there is also something called The petrified forest near Cairo, like full forest becoming submerged very fast by sea, as wood became mineralized, it looks and feels like stone.

This was also taught at the time stupid Darwin came up with his stupid idea of evolution, of course he had already learned of the shells on the mountain and seen them with his own eyes.

Some things may have happened with earth movements after the flood, the flood would have thrown land upward from where it broke free to shoot up into the air high up into the air. The land and soil carried around the world when it came down it piles layers some of the newest type of soil and stone are in place as the bottom layers now. Huge earthquakes that moved the whole land masses. You do know they believe the earth used to be one continent or land mass. We have the ring of fire now, mostly because of the land movement causing a layer to heat and melt, this can cause eruptions of volcanoes. This movement not only causes molten lava in areas, it causes the earthquakes, I sure you know this part.

Maybe you should check sight that do natural sciences and geology etc. They most likely will be Christian in nature, it does not stop them being correct if they can prove it.

One guy point out a whole area that took just decades in our life times to totally change from one barren place to forest and totally different from before, it where Mount St. Helen's Volcano blew years ago. A thing can change, and it doesn't even take fifty years for it to happen, just some kind of cataclysm, so yes a bunch of earthquakes and world flood with water shooting up into the atmosphere it took the land with it and dropped in it in other places, others were pushed up into higher ground. There are islands that have sunk since some maps were made early in the time they found the Americas, there have been cities cover over with mud, and covered with ocean water.

Our land is not new, yet it sure changes still. There used to be an inland sea maybe fresh water sea, in the Egyptian desert and farther to a good part of that part of Africa across the continent of Africa. Egypt used to be a green lush area. There were more lakes in the Middle East and now not so much.

You can date the various fossils at different strata layers and it tells the geological history of that mountain. It was uplifted from original sea floor many millions of years ago. In fact, the Himalayas are still rising very slowly. It's caused by plate tectonics, which is powered by the geodynamo at the core of the Earth that is heated by nuclear decay processes.

Regarding the marine fossils discovered in deserts like the Sahara, that is because of both plate tectonics causing continental drift over hundreds of millions of years (the Sahara was not always near the equator!), as well as geologic-scale climate change due to wobbles in the Earth's axial tilt over hundreds of millions of years and likely also by natural variability in the solar output of our sun.

So we just disregard that the Himalayas grow all the time and that millions of years ago they were once the sea bed?

Not likely. Marine creatures take a while to get established, and the flood did not last long enough.

Has anyone ever heard of tectonic activity? Even if the mountain only grows a centimeter a year, it's there in a million.

My kid threw chicken bones off the side of the boat and said that scientists would one day think chickens came from the sea.

It just means that millions of years ago what we now call "India" was still drifting through the Indian Ocean and had not yet collided into Asia to form the Himalayas. It has nothing to do with some biblical flood. During that time, limestone and other marine fossils would have collected on that landmass.

They've also found fossilized remains of tropical plants in Wyoming. Wyoming used to be south of the equator at one point. Did you know that? There are also fossilized remains of tropical plants above the Arctic Circle and below the Antarctic Circle from one point when the Earth was much hotter and those regions used to have tropical climates.

Picking up a science book and reading every now and again would help some of you.
