BLM-Antifa Target Restaurant in Louisville, Several Protestors Armed – Patron Pulls a Pistol!

OPEN Carry is LEGAL in many places, including in my entire state ... that is how all the protestors in Michigan carried various weaponry into the Michigan State House over the winter. (open carry is illegal in a number of places too, New York being a prime example)

It is CONCEALED CARRY that needs a license in most places.

A holster that "hides" the gun, such as one that is clearly a holster but basically has a rain flap cover over it, can get you in trouble in a number of places too since in those state that takes the gun from being OPEN carry to CONCEALED carry.

Kentucky is an Open Carry state as I recall so that guy carrying the pistol openly on his hip was within his legal rights and was NOT breaking any laws.

Illegal doesn't matter anymore, and I doubt stronger penalties will deter this particular type of mob.

The only legislation should be one that removes all liability from average citizens on scene who attempt citizen arrest by any means necessary, just like the semi-sovereign immunity a police officer has, but BETTER.
