It took me a while but I found the exact model online. Paul Shaffer used the same one on the Late Show. We were talking about it yesterday so I thought I would look it up. Quoting: T-Man It trends at around $100. It was very plasticky (if that's a word.) The speakers I use now are Technics bookshelf speakers made with wood. Much better sound.

I mostly liked it for CD's though.

As a kid I always wanted that expensive yellow Sony Walkman and later the CD version. I managed to get the Walkman at a garage sale a few years ago for 2 or 3 bucks.
