The message was given:

1) If you're a police officer, you can't touch a black guy.

2) If you are a white man, you cannot touch a black man.

3) If you are black you can do whatever you want, including commit crimes and resist arrest.

If I were a police officer I would quit today and look for something else to do because the job has become too risky.
There is no longer any certainty that if I try to restrict a black person and they have a heart problem and die as a result of this problem and resistance to imprisonment, I will not be protected by the law. On the other hand, I have a legal obligation to restrict this person.

I would rather quit my job and look for another job than have my life ruined and have to spend the rest of it in jail for murder.
