You summed up our current situation very nicely. I'd only add all those pregnant women marching across our border to drop their anchor babies for whatever purpose they end up with. |

It's Beetlejuice from Stern Show (sorry, can't embed pic... .someone should though) Here is a short film.. Can't be the one from the Stern show, he actually looks alive... There's a man in a white house with blood on his mouth! If there's Knaves in the North, there are braves in the South. We are three thousand horses, and not one afraid; We are three thousand sabres and not a dull blade. :78g: |

Quoting: The_Last_Centurion Will this be another top kwap eddie johnson deal where it's swept under the rug? Those not in the know, he was passed out behind the wheel and it was covered up by responding police. Where is an honest reporter willing to put their job on the line to cover this and bring it the city-wide attention it deserves? Or will they all just follow their master's orders to bury it? There are virtually no honest reporters left. Those currently in the field wouldn't allow it. |

I've never heard this expression before either. Me either. I think it's more of a current social media saying than a southern one. Southern born n bred. Never heard it said. Definitely not in Mayberry. It's an Atlanta saying for when people sit around a gossip Oh, ok. There's a man in a white house with blood on his mouth! I think I was the last person on the planet to find out what bling meant. I need a youngster to translate for me please. Tea is southern for gossip/rumor. Spill the tea on someone. As someone in the south for almost 40 years... I've never heard this expression before either. If your grandmother or great grandmother weren’t southern you probably wouldn’t have heard it. I think its somewhat regional. Gay men use this expression a lot. Queen types. Think sitting on the veranda talking about fainting couches type and come spill some tea next to me. |

It must be specific to one area. Same here I live in and am from Eastern Tennessee. |

I was looking at something the other day - it was supposed to be kind of tongue in cheek quotes and actually found them and I find a lot of what is going on to use an old phrase - uncouth - I am no prude ok, its just you are correct everything is so rough and brisk and confrontational. I was watching a you tube of some one just walking around in Tokyo and I was envious. People were modestly dressed - no yoga pants tee shirt people - and in this busy busy city it was peaceful. Just wow. I know we can't do that here in the same way - we are not homogenous, but still I wish it wasn't so rough and rude. |

What I hate is I have a friend, and we had no people of color in our High School or College, and she works $$$ and makes that North Shore money - and she acts like she is going to get her social justice warfare points "supporting" this mayor thing and all this black lives matter stuff meanwhile posting her $300 wine pairing dine out nights with her husband. These kinds of white people ^ I don't even know what to say. I live in well integrated, well established rule of Law Florida now and have long enough that I no longer like Yankees even though I am one. LOL |

An older woman told me a few years ago that when people went out shopping in the 1950s, early 1960s, the women would wear gloves and hats, the guys also would be well dressed and wearing hats too. The demographics of America versus elsewhere do play one part in what's going on. But the cultural, political liberalism that has been roiling the country for decades, and now reaching a fever peak, has wrecked the US. Elsewhere in the West too. |
