My wife bought the Assault Air Bike. Much cheaper then peloton, plus you get the arm exercisers which gives a better whole body workout. Very solid unit.

No app required to use it. I just put on some favorite jams and workit !!

There are none at Walmart :P

my dad used to race motorbikes when he was younger lol and I was sad that AC's were banned. I said so quite a few times..I was all bring back the AC's and I miss the AC's!

The seat size isn't about having a huge butt or not - it's bone structure. You know, those "seat bones" that you feel when your sitting on a hard chair or bench for a while. The seat needs to fit your pelvis size. Otherwise you feel bruised in that area.

Fit is important! A lot of people will quit riding after being sore for a while from an ill fitting seat. It doesn't have to happen that way.

You can go to a regular bike shop for a proper seat fitting and then put it on your indoor bike. Then, once you have the proper fit, you can add more cushion with a seat cover if you want.

I have an Echelon. I love it! Sturdy, and very smooth and quiet. Unfortunately, their monthly subscription is about the same as Peloton though.

If you want to save a little money, you can go with the Echelon bike and then use the Peloton app. But either app is going to cost the about same.

Understood about the seat...thank you very much. I will need a seat cover...these are all great tips. Wow...so many different bikes out there will look into the Echelon next. I was all set to order the Peloton guys...now I'm like I must do more research. Plus there is one for sale in Buffalo for $2000.00 I would never pay that but $1000.00 I would...it's a long shot lol
