I was a motorcycle rider for many years and had many bikes. But bicycle is the best form of transportation for people who enjoy nature and open world. Get a bicycle and start riding, it will give you energy and positive state of mind. You need fresh air while biking, and its not possible while biking in your room.

I agree with you 100%. Idiot drivers are everywhere, I stopped driving cars 5 years ago, bicycle is my transportation. With open window you are still going to smell your own sweat. Living in a box is not my thing.

I dont own but were thinking you need a road bike and or a mountain bike but then you have bouncy suspension and a road bike wont be good on dirt. Then came the Marin dsx. Its a flat bar gravel bike. Designed as a flat bar gravel bike, rather than the usual drop brar gravel bike with added flatbars. Wheels are thick enough without being to thick but can add thicker. Its like a 90s mountain bike but with the plushness of shimano and modern. It would be ideal. With the 1000 you save. I think I read you would spend 2k. Get a seat bag. Stay outside in summer. Get shopping. Cruise the lake/beach. Plus have wheels if things went south. You couldnt leave it locked in street though. I know you couldnt in UK.

It took me 2 months to pick out the right stainless steel breadbox for gods sake ...but I digress...I made my purchase today. True it was pricy but it's the most superior bike out there.

It goes side to side to work the core muscles and arm muscles better. So yeah over all I am super excited about my purchase...I can't wait for it to come! :D And it's not a stationary bike lol

I was super close to buying the Nordic track...the 1 year membership was a plus...but I mean if you are going to spend that just go forward and spend that little bit extra...

Just go to work on a farm for 6 - 8 weeks. 16 hr/day heavy workouts and you get paid! Peloton and bow flex have one thing in common....storage unit after about a month. But, hey...it's your $2k.

Either way...the Bowflex is the superior product compared to any bike out there. And applying for the credit card was super easy and fast. It suggests payments of $132 a month to pay off with zero APR. Compare that to a personal trainer membership (yes I researched) and it's very reasonable. I was set to spend $300.00 a month on the trainer...that's at 3 days a week.

Good God these women spend money on junk.
Big bucks too. $3,000 bikes???

Update: I received the bike about 5 days ago and have had 4 workouts...I took Sunday off :P...and omg...I love my new bike!!

I can totally feel it working my core...and my arms...the fact that this is not a stationary bike is what sold me. You unlock the bike to go side to side and it really gives you a good work out. Also, I love the music! You can pick from all kinds...I just was working out to the 90's lol

I will be completely honest...there are 2 cons with the bike:

1. Only a 2 month membership for Journey...then you have to pay $19.99 a month or $149 a year.

2. You definitely need a padded bike seat. I bought one from Walmart a big one from Schwinn...wow...what a difference. I think Bowflex sells one as well that is similar to the one I found at Walmart...and both are the same price...about $29.99.

I would love to hear from other Bowflex Velocore users...also...do they have live rides? I can't seem to find that...I don't think they do... if not that's another con...but it's not the end all be all for me lol

I made a little workout room in my second living room...Got the treadmill for my son...I hate that damn thing and I have the bike...that's it...kind of a sad work out room I guess but it's something damn it

I was thinking of putting a shelf in there for my towels and like some candles and whatnot...workout stuff...
