Why China Fears “Genocide”
China Unscripted

China is facing a global push back for the genocide of Uyghur Muslims in China. And they're doing everything they can to fight back. This is a highlight from the full China Unscripted episode: A Growing Rift Between China and the West.

When was the last time the US dealt unfairly with Zulus?

I live less that 25 miles from an Indian reservation. None of them are locked up in labor camps as slave laborers, none of them are being torn away from their families, none of them are force to take military mrn into their homes and feed them so they can be spying on the family 24/7, they can have all the classes and instruction on their languages and beliefs, they have their own public schools, they have their own police force, they are their own nations. They are called Indian Nations.

Xinjiang is nothing like that at all.

Exactly.

They know there is no defense for what they are doing. They can't admit it, because in this world today they would be expected to stop doing it. And they would lose face. They wouldn't dare , under The CCP, have the courage to admit their wrongs, and apologize and work to make things right.

We'll just have to wait and see. Hope not.

That wasn't the main point, however. The CCP does have to consider the push back from the West. We are the essential customers they need. They tried to switch their economy to a self contained economy rather than an export based economy after the 2008 economic crash, but couldn't pull it off. They still can't.

An bad incident in the US that has been acknowledged over and over again, and apologized for over and over, does not make the genocide of the Uyghurs right today, nor the genocide of Falun Gong OK nor the ongoing persecution of Christians and Tibetans just alright.

The CCP has murdered millions of it's own people, by their own count, during their cultural revolution, within living memory, and all you can find to fault the US with is one incident in the 1800s where 300 people died

Shame on you for using one shameful incident to justify one far far worse, and still going on.

I've removed some posts which were totally off topic.

If you want to post in this thread, please keep it a post about the topic, which you can read in the original topic.

I don't have time to wade through, or respond to, topics which are widely off topic.

If you have a message which is important to you, I urge you to start your own thread rather than hijacking mine.
