I get a rash on the back of my right hand every winter. Annoying.

Last year at the beginning of all this COVID shit I got a strange red rash from hell while I was work... on the back of my neck, my arms, and was spreading to my chest. I went to urgent care and the doc checked my breathing for 15 minutes with his stethoscope after he looked at the rash... said he was worried about my throat closing...

I've always wondered what I contacted... at first I thought it was from the powdered lubricant inside the wires I work with but I haven't had a reaction since...

CBD oil works for most skin conditions.

My sister's a compulsive hand washer and she's always getting some kind of rash.

Oh man I totally had this. Randomly one day I had a rash all over my wrist/thumb area reaching up to the joint and spreading to near my index knuckle. Had no idea how tf I got it and was very confused. Anyway I ended up throwing some colloidal silver gel for on it and that caused it to not be as red and then was mostly gone by the following day.

Scabies?

We've been eliminating things one by one and testing items on the skin to see if there is a reaction.

It seems to happen most when we go out shopping.

Doesn't behave like it at all. - it suddenly erupts over the course of a few minutes.

My hand rash goes away after the winter. Mostly healed now. Stupid dry air...

Could be the water? This sounds similar to what my son and his entire class was experiencing.. parents were extremely upset as all the kids hand were cracking and bleeding ( some more than others) speculation that it was the water as it was the only commonality that they had. ( kids washed their hands several times a day) Thought it may have been the soap.. but then parents started leaving the kids with their own soap.( it was a preschool) Physicians thought it may have been hand-foot-mouth disease, but eventually ruled it out. Parents thought it had to be the water.

Just today I noticed 3 people with sore looking red rashes on their faces. I was wondering to myself what could cause that. Probably just covid.

Dry air is what causes mine. I have electric base board heaters. It's been warm enough here not to use them at night now and my rash is clearing up.

Mine was a blushing cheek whenever I lied, the cure worked fine, stop lying. Most people run from even talking with an honest person, let alone what time does to the encounter.

Right on Lance. That's an old old remedy for healing wounds. Sailors did this and many others. I once had a friend that had at one time worked on a chain gang. He said they did this or their hands would fall off from the labor. Worked like a charm.

My son breaks out in hives when he enters some stores. I'm pretty well convinced it's some cleaning fluid they use... and they use it often apparently.

I’ve seen something on my inner arm recently. I wondered what it was.

we've nearly ruled out every item at home for contact dermatitis. we're nearly sure it's that.

we're thinking something in the shops too.

it's strange you should mention the water as a possibility as when my partner turns the tap on she often first notices the rash due to the burning of the tap water on the cuts.

it first appeared over 8 months ago. i had it on my knuckles, it kept coming and going. my partner started to get it. i havn't had it return for about 6 months. my partner gets it often. just appears out of no where.

My first post since the ac ban. And if I may make a comment. Did you ever think its using to much hand sanitizer.

neither of us have touched the stuff in months and we've ruled out any soaps.

i believe this is a symptom of something quite sinister going on.

Wow. This person has provided nothing but quality content and a kind of genius that litterally does nothing but wonders for this boards integrity. And that's saying alot. To think people though banning AC posting was the way to go .....
I probably cant contribute to this thread as some people have but my 2 cents. I happen to get it periodically, though when it occurs it happens for several days at a time. Only effects the back of hands and kinda trails up the arms, but not really. Occasionally the spots are so red and look terrible I contemplate wandering to the closest doctor but it always just fades till next time.
Has been this way for about 2 yrs now.
