Ignorance vs Stupidity.

It's been said "The Americans spent millions of dollars engineering a pen that would be able to write in zero gravity. The Russians just used a pencil."

The statement is actively disputed now as urban legend, but was once taken as truth.
Interesting how strong ideas, ideologies, and groupthink can be.
But here we are, 1 year of lockdown later, repeating the same action expecting a different result.

"Get the vaccine."
"Wear a mask."
"6 feet apart."
"Trust the science."

So is it ignorance or stupidity?


A few questions:

Why aren't the homeless in gigantic piles of dead bodies? Many of them smoke meth, or crack, their lungs are clearly compromised with a pandemic that attacks the respiratory system. They dont' social distance. They don't wear masks. They huddle together and chat. Why aren't there mass graves of the homeless?

Why doesn't a company like 3M or something just make masks that filter BOTH DIRECTIONS!? Nobody needs to worry if someone isn't wearing a mask; your mask protects others and yourself with a 2-way filtration system. People who don't want to wear masks dont have to. They take their own risks.
Seriously. It's been a year. Nobody has engineered this? It would sell out in a day.

If the vaccine is safe and effective, why aren't there vaccine injury laws? Nobody questions car insurance. Nobody questions home insurance. Nobody would buy a tv off Amazon that cost $4000 and only had a 2 week warranty. Why can't the manufacturer of the vaccine stand behind their product and offer a lifetime warranty? Whatever happened to lifetime warranties, anyway? Why don't we engineer products to last anymore?

Why are the no other treatments for this virus? HQC, Ivermectin, etc are all being ignored. Why is there only the Vaccine? Why are we placing all the eggs in one basket?
If you were diagnosed with terminal cancer, would you not seek a 2nd opinion?
How much BLIND TRUST are you placing in the "experts"?

It's been a year of lockdown. Is the lockdown working, Yes or No?
If you answered "yes" to the lockdown working how much more lockdown do we need?
When will lockdowns no longer be necessary?
How much lockdown do you think society can take?
What are you willing to risk to continue lockdown?

What do you think the costs of these lockdowns will be?

If the pandemic is so deadly, why would our leadership--who have access to health information before we do, put their loved ones at risk to take vacations? Fly on planes? Attend expensive restaurants without masks?

Isn't every subway ride a superspreader event? What's the difference in air quality between a subway and aircraft? Millions of people take the subway in a city in a day vs a hundred or so on a plane.
Shouldn't every subway ride require a 2 week quarantine?


So is it ignorance or stupidity?
