Which One died for you?
(you do have a point....after all, Elijah, from the Old Testament, challenged approximately 850 priests and their gods....)

His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God,the God of the living, did. He was sent here TO die for us, as is written in the book of John, chapter 3, 16th verse, and as was prophesied in the very first book, Genesis, and also prophesied in the book of Isaiah. I do not see how God not dying is connected to the Christ? Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God, was sent here to die for us. If in fact you are speaking of the one, true, and living God, God Most High, El Elyon, there is an inseparable "connection". Just as it is written in Isaiah, Jesus was proclaimed Almighty God, everlasting Father. He proclaimed that He and the Father are One, when He was here on earth.
