Tory rebellion: Boris under pressure over plans to extend 'draconian' lockdown powers
A Cabinet minister told the Daily Telegraph: “There is a lot of cynicism and a lack of trust.”

Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, told Parliament last year that the Coronavirus Act would remain in force for only as long as it was required to help fight the crisis.

In an op-ed for the Daily Telegraph, Mr Harper, who chairs the Covid Recovery Group, wrote: "Retaining most temporary provisions of the Coronavirus Act until October is not consistent with this pledge and will raise concerns that restrictions will be reintroduced in the autumn.”

People round here are fed up with these morons. Come the next election they're out of here. the only way they stay in power is if our elections become as "open" and "honest" as the 2020 election was.
