[link to www.foxbusiness.com (secure)] political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

Bajoran lightship ~ guest User ID: 79819224 United States 03/14/2021 04:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is that name again ... Sackler family They make billions on the lives of people, pushed by their drug dealers, the PHDs and when caught, pay out 4% of total after tax profits in fines and litigation. They probably think this is a win because when they developed that opioid, they were managing for 10% of profits to go to litigation. .... Jail is too kind for these fuckheads.. imo .... Purdue agreed to pay $225 million toward a $2 billion criminal forfeiture, with the Justice Department foregoing the rest if the company’s bankruptcy reorganization creates a public benefit company or similar entity steering the remaining $1.775 billion to U.S. communities for combating the opioid crisis. ... How much the Sacklers will contribute has long been a key sticking point in negotiations among family members, Purdue and plaintiffs. Many states rejected their initial $3 billion offer as too low. ***All in my opinion of course*** |

Bajoran lightship ~ guest User ID: 79819224 United States 03/14/2021 04:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Purdue conducted an extensive campaign to market and promote OxyContin using an expanded sales force to encourage physicians, including primary care specialists, to prescribe OxyContin not only for cancer pain but also as an initial opioid treatment for moderate-to-severe noncancer pain. OxyContin prescriptions, particularly those for noncancer pain, grew rapidly, and by 2003 nearly half of all OxyContin prescribers were primary care physicians. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has expressed concern that Purdue's aggressive marketing of OxyContin focused on promoting the drug to treat a wide range of conditions to physicians who may not have been adequately trained in pain management. FDA has taken two actions against Purdue for OxyContin advertising violations. Further,Purdue did not submit an OxyContin promotional video for FDA review upon its initial use in 1998, as required by FDA regulations. By 2001, sales had exceeded $1 billion annually ................. So .. our government has been 'fighting' this since .. how long? 1 Billion annually over the last 20 years and they are complaining about how much in their version of 'doing business'. NO WONDER THEY HAVE NO FEAR AT FUCKING US OVER !!!! Now if a few of these saints went to JAIL!!!!!!!!!!! And we could record and televise their misery .... just a little payback .. no? ***All in my opinion of course*** |

Watched articles on the internet and was looking like maybe 15% responded by the deadline. I calculated my cut should be around $14,000. Got a letter about a month later with a $600 check saying they decided since the response was so low they divided it up as if everyone responded, this is what you get, can't sue the banks for any more. My question is what was done with all the money that was left? Fukkin scam |
