Those horses are so beautiful! And the landscape...just gorgeous!

The Lord has granted me much of my Slovak grandmother.
Her hair was never anything but waist long, braided tightly and rolled into a bun. In sunlight it always had a golden yellow tint no matter her age.

She came over on the boat with my aunt in tow to re-join her husband who had found work in the steel mills. Never learned much English; a very bright woman married to an even brighter man. Both of them are my role models.

She does have the nicest healthy hair that I seen in a long time.

I HATE daylight savings time. Not sure why some states continue to force this crap. Just keep things like they are.

Daylight Stupid Time screws around with the natural biorhythms of people. It forces everyone to wake up an hour earlier and do everything an hour sooner.

That's not so bad at the end of the work day, but it's offset because people have to get up an hour earlier the next day in order to not be late for their job, Covid or not.

As for sunlight in the evening, the sun naturally sets later during the mid-part of the year in the Northern hemisphere. Besides, most people go home at the end of the day and sit around watching their TVs, cell phones or laptops or go to indoor gyms, indoor restaurants or indoor theaters.

I believe it was Bush Jr who extended DST from 7 months to the current 8, even though he reportedly didn't care for the DST provision buried in a bill he signed. He didn't have much of a spine, however, so it was no sweat off his back.

Regrettably, I don't think Trump is any better when it comes to DST. He is described as not needing many hours of sleep, so having to wake up an hour earlier probably is no BFD to him.

to keep the color going, I eat lots of sunflower seeds and other foods with copper, which is vital to pigmentation. Also no gluten - the sunflower seeds are a substitute for bread.
