I want to hear it from the horses mouths so to speak.

What are the rough numbers for or against.

...I fear the US government and other governments around the world won't allow texas to open up without any health issues and giving inspiration to people all around the world to do the same.

Honestly who cares. Less than 60% complied with the mask wearing to begin with, it wasnt enforced with any consistency. Social distancing was, is and will always be up to the people involved. The only thing it did was shut down some bars, who then reclassified their businesses as food serving and fuck over small businesses that couldnt afford to stay afloat. A pool hall in my town has been open for about 6 months. But they serve food so its ok. Just ridiculous from beginning to end.

Look, if some people want to wear masks and not eat out or shop, they will do that. Let everyone else get on like normal. Here in N Georgia, we've been mostly open the entire time. Stores might have signs to wear masks, but few do. Schools are open - no masks. I think we are to the point where the people who were going to get COVID already have and the rest just go on like normal. Some areas of the country are just way to paranoid about COVID.

Where I live: The few restaurants that were not having Dine In might have been getting ready to fully open, but now plenty are closed due to water damage from busted pipes. ERCOT messed up my family’s fun way more than covid ever did. People were over the fear by the end of last April, and only half-played the mask game when required to do so. It has been taken as going along with stupidity as long as it wasn’t too annoying. When stupid became annoying, the attitude would shift to F This BS!

It can’t be fully opened up and neither can ANY state fully open up - because the federal offices are CLOSED and the lazy, fatass, federal workers are HOME - not doing their jobs.

FUCK FEDERAL workers.

FUCK Democrats.

I live on the coast just north of Corpus Christi.

I am all for it. With all the local griping over the last several months,
most others in this area are behind this move by the Gov.

To be honest, many of the local businesses dropped the mandate at least two months ago.

Large chain stores like HEB and Walmart have the signs up but do not enforce the rule.

It will be nice to see the ladies' beautiful smiles again.

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. jimi

Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

I'm just a product of insufficient modality.

Humans of Earth! I have come in peace. You need not fear me. I mean you no harm. However, it may be important to know that most of you will not survive the next 24 hours. And those of you who do survive will be enslaved and experimented on. You should in no way take any of this personally — it's just business!

Re: What do texan citizens themselves say about fully opening up?
Why dont you just look at the FACTS??

• *Science is the pursuit of favorable probability. Science is NOT a democracy

• *Every disease resets end of calendar year. As such, so should covid19 but it does not. Why? To leave the perception of a worsening disease?

• *April 14th 2020 - CDC directed all medical professionals to list ALL DEATH CASES as covid. This was at the direction of an obscure group called CSTE (counsel state and territorial epidemiologists) & reiterated on the world stage via WHO. Plausible deniability if rational people ever try to validate statistical probability of infection vis-à-vis population. [link to www.worldometers.info (secure)] & [link to www.cste.org (secure)]

• *Dec 31st 2020 - 22m infected in America out of 330m = 6% (this # includes non-lab diagnosis). 330k dead out of 330m = 0.1% Even with stat padding, this is not statistically significant and does not meet the criteria for a pandemic.
(94% of covid deaths having 2.6 pre-existing conditions [link to www.jems.com (secure)] )

• *Pfizer and Moderna mRNA injection has 95% efficacy which means you still have an approximately 93-95% chance of never catching covid-19 with or without an injection according to annual data. [link to www.statnews.com (secure)]

• *Excess deaths 2020: John Hopkins University: “No Evidence That COVID 19 Created Any Excess Deaths” [link to worldeventsandthebible.com (secure)] . Further, one study saying 20% excess for months March thru July 2020 and 1/3 of deaths were not related to covid. The other 2/3 of recorded deaths likely related to CSTE guidance to list all deaths as covid and/or the unnecessary lockdown which caused more deaths erroneously labeled as covid due to CSTE guidance.

• *2017-2018 influenza season according to CDC saw 61,000 deaths being directly related to influenza and not attributed to any other disease [link to www.cdc.gov (secure)] However, this article states Influenza and complications killed 80,000 Americans in 2018. [link to www.statnews.com (secure)] The article also states that many influenza cases are never reported on the death certificate due to it being so common so in theory deaths attributed to influenza could be far worse.

• *2020 – 2021 influenza season saw 2% of historical influenza cases recorded. [link to www.medpagetoday.com (secure)]

• *Summary: 330k “covid” American deaths in 2020 (less 94% that had comorbidity) is 20k American deaths due to Covid without co-morbidity. 20k deaths compared to even half the 2018 influenza deaths still makes influenza far deadlier or…. Covid19 is simply influenza rebranded with non-stop media histrionics, padded stats and inaccurate testing (PCR) which no gold standards to compare. (“However, our scoping review also uncovered imperfect methods for estimating diagnostic test performance in the absence of a gold standard and demonstrate that the accuracy of these tests should be interpreted with caution.” [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] )

• *Meanwhile each and every year over 600k Americans die of heart disease, 600k Americans die of cancer, 150k Americans die of stroke, 80k Americans die of diabetes and at least 50k Americans die of influenza. There is no disingenuous medical virtue signaling.

The X factor is this: The cat is now out of the bag. After this announcement by Abbott, nobody will obey any further bullshit orders and if Walmart or any other private company tries to enforce it, they'll be seeing riots 24/7 at all their outlets.
