More than anything, we have to realize that we’re preparing blind. We don’t know what sort of disaster we’re facing or what the post-disaster world is going to look like. Which means if the government goes full retard and decides to grab guns, gold, and any other means to stay sovereign, most will dutifully comply. History has proven this over and over and over. There will be some that have moral codes and uphold their constitutional duties. However I'd have to say on the whole, especially in cities and urban areas, that most will not be a friend and would be more than complicit to oblige the edicts of these tyrants. I've seen this modern crop of police/Military, they are not cut from the same cloth of men from a couple generations ago. Sick societies breed sociopaths and they all seem to flock to positions where they can project their inner tyrant. During the Obama administration they intook hundreds of thousands of underserved people into law enforcement, mostly DHS. Those young people already hated middle class Americans. They made those new LE agents proud and strong. Then came four years of Trump. Now draw your conclusion. |
