Sketchy back alleys. Try behind dumpsters. Bullion dealers usually only come out at night.

Online places are going to be days(maybe a week) out. Looks like a few are freezing orders to see what happens in the next few days. Their sale prices are based on the daily price of silver. So basically a company isn't going to sell you something today, that won't ship for 4 days, if they think in 4 days the price will be 10 percent higher. That's just good(for them) business.

Goto a local gold/silver shop, buy old half dollars for cash and hope the guy there isn't very savvy when it comes to online chatter.

That might work, since in real life back alley deals I would just snap their necks with 0 regard if they tried to scam me.

Drive around a few close towns to you and hit up pawns/dealers. You can walk in and walk out with stuff in hand, just don't be surprised when they catch on to the massive uptick in demand and bump up prices.

You're def right, I've had online sellers cancel my order so they could raise the price and I have to order again, not even related to metals.

I think locally, you'd have monday, maybe tuesday to drive around and buy up a few pieces or a bag of old silver coins. If the silver moves like most are saying, come mid to late week and everyone will be clued in. If you have nothing better to do, spend monday hitting up all the local places, the more rural the better.

I have a 2-3 day waiting period on my purchases online because of what's going on. They can cancel my order at any time and that before they even ship it to me.

Best bet is to buy it local / in person.

JM has some rounds and bars, 32 to 35 dollars an oz, but again, they state orders are delayed.

You know damn well that any online retailer would take an order today, for 33 an oz, and if come "fill day" monday or tuesday it's 50, they'll cancel your order.

Strip your locals of WHATEVER they have, even jewelry if you are concerned about the huge jump.

I actually have no silver holdings, been meaning too, but was waiting for under 25 to buy eagles. Not too sad about it, I have other "precious metal" holdings(ammo).

I bought "in stock" bullion an hour ago. 30 oz. Could not buy the same 30 oz. had to spit it into two orders because they ran out.

First, you will need a time machine. Go back a year when we were not a communist enclave of china. So back a year ago, just buy it at a local place or APMEX. Then, depending on the type of time machine and how much weight is allowed, bring it all back to right now.

I hope you get it for that, but your order is placed in a que and 2 or 3 days from now when it gets processed, if the price has changed to 50 an ounce, I'd be surprised if they fulfill it. Maybe some of the "big" houses will(like JM) if they do, then they have some pretty high business ethics. But this is commodities, usually that's paying the up to the minute rate when something changes hands.

There should be a couple gold/silver bullion dealers in your city - if you live in a decent size city
