Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79587795 Also by the end of next year taxes will be withheld or companies will be barred from accepting them as payment. Only companies you will be able to sell to are underground. Also the founder of bitcoin will be out of the shadows once it hits a certain price. It will be shocking who it is. Quoting: REaliZe How can you miss that in any comparison? Are you worried that Redditors will drive up the price? Governments can ban any use of bitcoin. Not allow companies to accept it. No technology or alternative currency will be allowed to threaten those with the power and money. We talk about fiat currancy backed by nothing bitcoin is the definition of that. It is backed by people spending money on power to harvest it. Unless bitcoin has a military behind it, it is vulnerable. I have been on GLP long time. I'm old and young.. . |

And at least Gamestop has earnings and assets. Quoting: Looking Around While your statement is true... bitcoin differs in that it does not have earnings, no ceo, and is decentralized and no one person controls it. Bitcoin doesn't need to do anything other than store "value" away from a single point of control. It's really the foundation for the next generation of finance. It has risk and with that comes expected return. |

It’ll still hold black market value like it did originally on Silk Road. It’s not like the avg person is paying for their groceries with BTC anyway. It's just a bad day, not a bad life. If you run, I will run, until my last breath. |
