While your statement is true... bitcoin differs in that it does not have earnings, no ceo, and is decentralized and no one person controls it.

Bitcoin doesn't need to do anything other than store "value" away from a single point of control. It's really the foundation for the next generation of finance. It has risk and with that comes expected return.

The world can ban it all they want. It’ll still hold black market value like it did originally on Silk Road. It’s not like the avg person is paying for their groceries with BTC anyway.
