So much BS was written about Trump that was blatant BS, harming both his term as President, his reputation and his business affairs could he sue those that blatantly spewed lies to harm him? Even members of the FBI, DOJ, Democrat operatives who made up the Steele Dossier? I understand that as a public figure there is a certain amount of BS to be dealt with---but--they were out to put him in jail and rip out his heart. For libel and slander, public figures have a higher standard of proof: they must prove the publisher acted with actual malice. So sure he can sue them, they would move to dismiss that a) it was true (always a defense to libel), but also b) even if it weren't all true, we didn't act with actual malice. That would interesting to see.
