User ID: 78659823 United States 12/26/2020 11:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.amazon.com (secure)] Quoting: Turtle Flower This one is a little different. When I moved back to my hometown almost ten years ago I was at a bar where my husband was playing in a band. I saw these older ladies who were really getting into the music, and I started talking to one. I was thinking she was a lot older than she was, like maybe pushing 80, but no, turns out she was only in her early 60s, and her name was Jan. You ever meet someone and feel like you’ve always known them? It was like that, an instant connection of sorts – but not like an “old lost friend” good feeling, just an odd “I recognize this” kind of feeling. Monday morning I start work with a friend, landscaping her rental properties, and wouldn’t you know it the first house we go to is Jan’s house. My mind was pretty blown, but hers wasn’t for some reason. Making polite conversation she told me I was a witch, and that she could see it in me, mind blown again. I had spent some time studying Wicca and witchcraft after my son passed away, but by the time I had met Jan, I was a Christian. Over the weeks I saw her a few times, and the last time I saw her she was dying. I could literally smell death on her like you can with a sick animal. It turns out Jan was slowly and deliberately killing herself with alcohol, and her friends knew and supported her right to choose, even going so far as to bring her alcohol because it would be dangerous for her to drive. Jan died, and her friends threw a big party in her rental after it had been cleaned out. I didn’t go, and I’m not friends with those folks anymore. Anyway, I started thinking about Jan, and second chances, and wrote this little book. Merry Christmas GLP! WOW, what an interesting read. I have been in situations just like this. Some people (usually women but not always) just know thing. I have met at least 5 people like that. If I sit and think about it, it may be many more. I am kind of like that but I don't like to come out and say things like "I can tell you're a witch" because I wouldn't want to offend them and another reason is they might not KNOW they are a witch. And I don't mean witch in a bad way. Did Jan? I swear, some people are brought into our lives for what seems mysterious reasons. |

I knew a shy soft spoken dude who was an ace bike mechanic and even worked for a factory race team. He got himself into a bind with a woman and had a child and he could not take the situation he found himself in. He pretty much took a year of hard alcohol daily which pickeled his internals so much so that his body shut down. There is much more to the story. This dude is just yet another human who slow motion suicided. |
