For St. Patrick's Day

Long stewed Corned beef in crock pot.

Later, fat removed, sauce finished topper in oven
57, sugar, molasses, clove, allspice. ground mustard.

Mashed potatoes, butter, salt, pepper, half n half,
cream cheese, blended to whipped potatoes.

Carrots, sunshine carrots. Orange juice etc. look it up.

Fried cabbage and onions

Kinda stewed/fried.

Das it.

(Pony was a jerk tonight so he stays out.)

That sounds like my daughter's cat . If there was only an inch or two of water, he'd dump it because he wanted fresh, not mostly dog slobber.

We went to our son's tonight for sandwiches. I had honey ham and 1 slice of provolone with mustard. I shared a can of Brunswick stew with Woody.

I was going to do a Guinness lamb stew, but it got hot today so it was lamb (various small cuts) in the airfryer along with rosemary potatoes and asparagus which I poured some lamb fat into the mixing bowl...turned out pretty darn good!

Easy dinner tonight. Going with this crockpot recipe. We have those Mission low carb tortillas, shredded Mexican cheese, sour cream, jalapenos and taco sauce. Also going to try a little cilantro lime rice.

Spring cleaning and home touch ups are in full swing. Spring/Easter decor is up and Nef has been painting, updating light fixtures and deep cleaning. I'm off from work most of the week so now I can help out! We have a new living room set being delivered on Wednesday! Much, much needed. The pups better not eat it lol.

Maybe a couple of days late. But I had pizza and salad for lunch today.




I'm completely undecided on what to make for dinner. I'm thinking brussel sprouts and I think I will have it with Jasmine rice with a little bit of breakfast sausage mixed in.

We're having Mexican tonight, too. We still have the taco meat from a couple of days ago. I'm cooking black beans and rice and were going to make bowls. Well, he might make a taco salad.

So I found a pea sized lump in my neck about an inch below my scar. I figure it's just a swollen lymph node because everyone else has been sick. I've managed to dodge it so far.

My cancer scan is coming in 2 months anyhow, but Woody thought I should call. The nurse said my oncologist wouldn't be back until Thursday, but she was sure he would approve it considering there's a new lump.

So my pain the ass diet starts Monday. It figures our 36th anniversary is on Tuesday. He wanted to go out to dinner. He said we could go this weekend instead. I want a steak from Longhorn.

At least, we got to go for a short ride today. It was low 70s and sunny.

Thanks. Here was my dinner. All I had was cheap rice and even though I rinsed it well, it's sticky as hell. So I won't be eating much of the rice underneath. The rest is good though.

I'm on a crock pot kick this week. Tonight I'm making a pot roast in it with carrots, onions and celery. It will be a late dinner lol.

Fly Boy, I haven't heard anything from pool, although we never exchanged personal contact information. :\

I just sent her a little note as I don't have her phone number. I will certainly let y'all know if I get an answer. I told her that I just wanted to know that she's ok.

Pork chops, stuffing with a mushroom gravy, peasm and a corn muffin. I think they're better the second time. The muffin is crispy.
