Ha When I first saw that pic, I thought it didn't look like me.

I've been planning to take a new pic with Butters. One withe some eye makeup on so I don't look so pale. The little booger just hasn't been cooperating.

I'll change it to that one for a while.

Things must be getting really tight for people.

There were about 30 cars in line already when we got here an hour before they even start.

This pic is from Walmart yesterday. We had to do our walking there since we got rained out, again. Sigh.

Anyhow, it's $8-9 for a 5 lb bag of potatoes!

I'm glad I bought a bunch of the instant mashed potato packets.

Our Walmart is remodeling. Interesting that there is now wide open spaces where you used to barely be able to get a cart through. I took several pics of this.

That's about right. Who can afford the lamb to go with right now.

"We" traded deer meat for lamb (hunter to farmer). Totally looking at food exchanges at all times...organic herbs for tomatoes; jellies for mushrooms. It makes it's way into every conversation in my circle. I know you don't have a garden, but fishing is at your door. Find someone with a garden who likes fresh fish?

I've been keeping my hair back in a pony tail pretty much all the time now. I started because it was hot, but now it's just because it's gets in everything.

I also think the light makes it look like my hair is grey? I have a few, but it's not my whole head yet.

Oh and I have glasses now. I finally gave in.

That's not a bad idea. We talk to a lot of people on our walks so I'll keep that in mind.

I didn't think it looked like gray hair. Just light brown hair hit by sunlight. :)

And I like the glasses!

This cake is incredibly easy and fast to make. Any flavor you want. It is a great base for extravagant desserts or a tasty little treat anytime you want. There is no waste so you save money and won’t be tempted to over eat. The ingredients are inexpensive. This recipe is a must in times like these.
If you need a few servings just combine 3 parts mix(1 cup) and 2 parts water(2/3 cup) and bake in muffin cups at 350*F until done and you save money with no waste.

There are ways and means around EVERYTHING, you just have develop a certain knack for viewing it that way. It's all about perspective. Go plant potatoes in out of the way places that only you know, for instance. Same with peanuts.

No time like the present to get planting, forget the 'planting times' for food items that can essentially by perennialized. Like potatoes. Buy up the older/on sale ones. Just stick them in the ground! I have a gazillion ideas. I'm a resource sitting here waiting to be tapped. It's not 'full activation time' yet because our cultures have to go through a NDE before we get it into our heads that you can't eat A FUCKING LAWN.

ANyway, left over cold Udon noodle salad with pork and veggies with a very small steak as an addition for dinner. We are eating our 1 meal a day for under $5.00 a plate. ANd I can get pretty fancy for a few dollars more, and splurge whenever because...food, family and good cheer are what it is all about.

I was all comfortable and then came the to warm food. At least there weren't any poops in my cleavage.

It rained again so we went to Lowes and picked out our dream kitchens. Baby was selling it.

I was wondering about her a few weeks ago. I never got her phone number even though we used to talk a lot. I used to film things for her since she couldn't get out.

I think maybe I made her mad, but I can't remember why.

Last year Lance wrote of "Shuffling".

I had no idea what it was. This video immediately made me think of him.

This video was after the Monkey Pox video I watched yesterday.

So, this is shuffling!

Shuffle girl #1 and #4 are the same girl. She's in here ten times, each with different clothes and often with her hair in a ponytail (I think she's the best Shuffler).

It's not something I would ever have looked for, but it's awesome, at least to me. My dream for years has been to be able to dance like the man in the video "Good Intent" by Kimbra.

I've always loved to watch people dance. I was born with just enough grace to walk straight, well most of the time.

We're eating up the last of the chicken with a little taters to go with my ho made chicken gravy & canned peas. Frozen are better , but it's what I had on hand.

Your dinner looks great.

Mine was a beef pot pie, the big Marie Calendar type.
It was amazingly good.

Cooking has been difficult for me as standing by the stove or oven is a bit too much for me currently. But I did make some awesome roast potatoes with onions earlier this week.

I have those in the freezer. We haven't tried the beef ones yet, only the chicken. They're good though!
