In her religion, burial should occur within 24 hours.

It was mentioned that since she passed on a Friday evening, burial might be delayed to Monday.

I'm not of that religion so I don't know how this will play out.

Well, I guess they are going against the traditions of her religion. RBG will lie in repose at the Supreme Court house Wednesday and Thursday, then in the Capitol building Friday.

She will then be buried in Arlington Cemetery next week.

So, it is possible they will try to use the funeral as an out for Biden.
