A very dear friend of mine was hospitalized today. He was diagnosed positive yesterday morning. He is in his mid-40s. He has been in close contact with my goddaughter who lives with him. His coughing was getting worse and he was having a lot of trouble breathing today so he is now hospitalized. I'm wondering what can be expected. What do they actually do for you in the hospital?

I don't actually know what they do but since they don't want any family around the patient that gets really suspect. Stories about sedation without actual treatment. Hopefully they are not in an epicenter city and a smaller town. I believe those doctors and nurses would help more. Prayers sent and hope all gets well.

Yes, they are in a smaller town and you're right, no one is allowed in there. We are all waiting for him to communicate by text to let as know what's going on in there. Haven't heard a thing yet

I know that pre existing Diabetes, as an example, makes Covid-19 far more deathly, also Hypertension. It's really a coin toss to survive under those conditions. Here in Chile people in serious condition have been saved by the so called "plasma transfusion" from recovered patients, is the only thing that seems to work saving 6 out of 10 seriously ill patients. All great truths begin as Blasphemies. G.B.S. GLP is like a diamond mine of information, in the sense that you have to shovel mountains of crap to find the diamonds, but it's still worth the pain.

He is in law enforcement and sometimes they don't always eat the way they should. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
