I banned cable and threw out my TV over ten years ago. Best decision ever.

Gone With the Wind is a great book and one of the best movies ever made.

I always kinda hated the movie, mostly mom issues, but portraying a rich white lady who falls to the Civil War and is shredding herself with hard work in the cotton fields with former slaves who stayed as part of her family and grovelling seems hardly racist.

People have seriously lost their minds.

Buy whatever old movie dvd's you can find now.

They will be removing them from the market soon and you will only be able to find them at pawn shops, flea markets and thrift stores

Eddie Murphy Raw and Delirious, Richard Pryor live on the sunset strip are a couple to grab if you can find them...they are priceless works of art in comedy

any and all original planet of the apes movies....those movies were trying to tell the humans the future and few seemed to get what they were actually saying

That's truly sad. The movie, although not 100% historically correct, displayed the emotions and thinking of the period.

On a personal note, my mom, who is 97, has always said it was her favorite movie of all time. She told me that when it came out, she waited in line for 8 hours to see it and then saw it 7 more times.

It is yet another effort to rewrite the history of our country. HBO can GFT.
