My great great grand father was a Louisiana state senator and He owned slaves and had a plantation. He was hung by the union troops because they wanted to steal His property and He put up a fuss. I have no idea whom got the plantation but it's apparent that I didn't get any of it and My grandmother had 8 children and lived in a shack so She didn't get any of it either.
