Polyandry is the only way to stop over population. It's natural in the animal kingdom, like a lion pride for instance. All the men in the pride protect the offspring. Ladies are impregnated by the strongest DNA male. Foreign babies are killed because they don't fit the dynamic.

This is the principle behind abortion, a woman knows which men will protect her offspring and which will kill it, so she has the choice during pregnancy to terminate. But the principle got all screwed up because humans are dumb.

Fact of the matter is that all babies don't get to live. That's natural life and keeps population in check. Just like in nature, lots of babies are eaten before they are weaned. Culls the herds.
