We are ready to take a strong stand. Madison County is ready to go to task with the governor, who is a flaming DemonRat. Governor says we won't get any stimulus money - oh well....we never get anything anyway....it all goes to Chicago and Cook County. I await for most of the other counties in Illinois to stand up!! I think The state of Illinois KNEW we would be closed this far out and had this planned! When I was given notice back on March 10th the library was closing indefinitely, I was told we were to be furloughed until JULY! I didn't believe it would be that long, but here we are... And just before we were all told not to come back; (we were still planning to work by taking calls, catch up on projects, weed through books, etc.) I noticed all the new due dates had been changed to April 2021! We were only thinking things would be weird for a few weeks at that time, and I pointed this out to all my co-workers and my boss. I think the RAILS system changed it to an earlier date once it was questioned, but STILL! |
