Madison County, IL Starts to Reopen - defies Gov Pritzger!

I live in Madison County, IL which is just north of St. Louis. There was a vote today by our Board of Health folks for the county, and the resolution to start to reopen tomorrow, 5/13, passed 27-2.

Clark County was the first to do this. They passed their resolution last Friday. Madison is county #2 that is ready to fight our governor for our constitutional rights.

We feel our governor has overstepped his authority - he was only allowed to lock us down for 30 days. The 30 days is long passed. Madison and Clark are relatively rural with little deaths to the COVID. Most who died are old folks.

Our Governor today said we would never go back "to normal" until a vaccine is found and we all comply which may take years.

Rural Illinois has had enough of this garbage. We are ready to take a strong stand.

Madison County is ready to go to task with the governor, who is a flaming DemonRat. Governor says we won't get any stimulus money - oh well....we never get anything anyway....it all goes to Chicago and Cook County.

I await for most of the other counties in Illinois to stand up!!
