These droughts will be somewhat like the ones out west but without the winds.. It will last 3 and a half years and cover the entire United States.. and it will slowly burn (One third of all the trees) and (All) the grass will dry up..not actually burn by fire but all the grass will turn brown-gray- whatever making lawns look terrible - and the (grass watering code will be strictly enforced) leading to even more riots and looting and mad people.. As far as food.. each time you go into the grocery store (Load up on canned food) and you can find many places to store it.. Use an entire room you do not use and store it.. Have can openers on hand,, But the bigger thing is when you use up a gallon of milk or milos tea.. Do not throw away the container.. Fill it with water and store it.. also use tougher bottles like V8 fruit juice bottles.. They are tougher and will not de generate and crack .. Fill those with water.. Store hundreds of them under your bed in the next few months.. You will make it if you do that..If you are a whiskey man-- then instead of buying that bass boat of that Harley hog.. go buy a few thousands worth of your favoite strong drink..store it.. If you are a beer man then do the same.. Hot beer is good too.. But (do not) do something you are not used to.. like -- If you are a beer man do not go out and buy whiskey.. you might do something foolish.. The goal is to survive this (Pain demic) For weapons - Jesus said (for the end times) any man who did not have a (Sword) to sell his tunic and buy one.. His disciples said "Look lord we have two!" Well my state was only 7% forested in 1900. Today with the elimination of the marginal farms it is back up to about 60% forested.

If 1/3 of our forests burn that means we will "only" have 40% of the state forested ... which is nearly 6 times as much forested as we had in 1900. Doesn't seem like a disaster to me.
