he is done politically.

Unemployment in Texas is going to outrageously high even when they open up completely and earnings will be down by at least half state wide.
.

I'm telling you, The Texas economy is totally fubar as long as west Texas crude is practically worthless. Productive wells are being killed because there's no place to sell or store the oil, theyre even pumping it back into the ground to try to save some wells or pumping it into open pits. The difficulty is you cant just shut off a valve and stop a well, it has to be cemented in. Its crazy shit Ive never seen before in 40 years on the patch

Irony I guess you'd call it. Just a couple years ago, they opened a drive in movie theater, in Lewisville/Carrollton. They just bulldozed it down about eh maybe 2 months ago. I say Ironic, because if they could have made it until now. They'd probably be packed soon.

Terrible idea.

But I guess everyone is willing to trade their life to stand in line at a movie theater. Sounds about right.

I will watch from my house as all the dummies go get infected.

Good luck with all that.

You people are falling into the trap.

Someone mentioned herd immunity. There is no herd immunity for a bioweapon, idiot.

Even though there was a lock down in Texas we didn't really care and did whatever we wanted.

People on trails everywhere... No masks.

People riding a ATV's and dirt bikes all over the place.

Grocery stores packed with no ridiculous arrows directing you where to go.

No cops enforcing anything anywhere.

UNLIMITED Margaritas to go at many restaurants ready for pick up.. Awesome!

Totally agree. Around my area, the only change was that restaurants did takeout. EVERYTHING was exactly the same.

Abbott announced that the following would be allowed to re-open on Friday, May 1, but only filled to 25 percent capacity:

Retail stores
Restaurants
Malls
Movie theaters
Museums and libraries (hands-on exhibits must remain closed)
All licensed healthcare professionals

Small counties that have five or fewer cases are allowed to open up to 50% capacity for those businesses unless there is a flare-up.

The governor said that it is up to the owners and operators of the facilities on whether or not they want to open or if they choose to wait longer.

It will not be worth movie theaters to open with 25% with too few in attendance.
