Not entirely accurate. Cannabis was/is a gateway drug because of criminal element involved.

Weed dealers tend to sell a bit of coke too. You get coke off a dealer, right? nobody goes out of their way to try coke.

Now it's legal, I can't imagine having to do business with a 'dealer' again. Legalization is the key. Eliminate the dealers and their wares of toxins.
