GLP ALWAYS CLAIMS EARTH WILL GO THROUGH A DEBRIS TAIL FROM COMETS I even believed it once


But it doesn't make any sense. if the comet trajectory doesn't come close to Earth, then its debris will not come close to earth either. make sense?

They seem to be coming more often now like buses all come at the same time on the same route

INTRODUCING COMET SWAN:

A new comet has been discovered, and in late May it will pass by the sun near the orbit of Mercury. No, it's not Comet ATLAS (C/2019 Y4), which is currently falling apart on a similar trajectory. Introducing, New Comet C/2020 F8 (SWAN)
The orbit of this comet is still preliminary. Today the comet is located in the southern sky (23h04m, -35°35'), best seen by telescopes in South America, southern Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Stay tuned for updates and orbital elements as they become available

Waiting on the confirmed trajectory but it will cross our orbit from the interactive orbit trajectory plan here
