Cabin Fever: Things That Make You Go Hmmm
This Easter week-end thread is a refocused adjunct to one that I posted last week-end.

Under these stay-at-home mandates, we have a lot more time in our otherwise busy lives to think. And, some of us do so with greater resolve and clarity than we typically have. We study; we research; we postulate.

Most of us here, through years of situational analysis, have learned to question official narratives. We have developed a determination to delve deeper in our curiosity to learn the truth ... to pull back layered veils of deception.

Here are some highlights of emerging questions about this ordeal impacting our health, our finances, and our society ... things that make you go hmmm. There's a longer list for discussion in the subsequent post. Maybe you've pondered them yourself.

What do you think? Do you have speculations?

IMMUNE SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION

Essentially everyone who has more severely suffered from Covid-19 had a compromised or weakened immune system. Further, most of us can avoid sundry types and strains of colds and influenza by strengthening our immune systems to function optimally.

Why aren't the mainstream media and public officials strongly promoting good immune system health, e.g. D3, vitamin C, zinc, turmeric, regular exercise, healthy weight, and good hygiene?

VIRUS TREATMENT

Many folks show rapid improvement when treated with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. Probably, these prescriptions are not the long-term solution, but why aren't these strongly encouraging treatments getting paramount coverage? Moreover, why not help people right now instead of waiting long months for tested antibody treatments ... or eventually a vaccine and/or ultimately herd immunity?

Why have some governors restricted the prescription of hydroxychloroquine to patients with COVID-19 in their states? Is it really just to prevent potential stockpiling?

More explicitly, with widespread immune system improvements and these two prescriptions, we could likely be on the path to recovery within 10 days. Are some power brokers actively scheming to delay health, financial, and social recovery so that it may take long dreary months instead of a few auspicious days?

COVID-19 vs INFLUENZA

The CDC estimates that 15K have died in the USA from Covid-19 so far this year (and most of these cases had comorbidities). During the same time frame, they estimate that about 30K have died from the flu; but we rarely if ever hear about this related statistic. Moreover, this is normal every year for the flu. But, we don't shut the entire country down for the flu each year closing businesses and forcing millions of people out of work?

Consider this analogy. Suppose a new serial killer, referred to by the media as Clack, was on the loose in your neighborhood who had murdered 15 people since the first of the year. Likely the local news would cover these heinous Clack killings 24/7 until the culprit was apprehended.

Now imagine that at the same time another serial killer, referred to as Flack, had murdered twice as many people in the same time frame, at least 30. Plus, Flack had been doing this for years, year after year.

Yet, the media rarely even mentioned Flack and most folks merely dismissed him as a normal scourge. Wouldn't you wonder why Clack was getting so much media coverage and why folks were compelled to stay in their homes while Flack was barely even mentioned in mundane whispers?

N95 MASKS

Do you recall that back in late January, folks started buying so many protective masks that the power brokers began insisting through their media puppets that we all stop using them so that healthcare professionals would have more available? There simply were not enough of them to go around to everyone. Moreover, they told us that the masks didn't protect us as much from others as they helped us quite well to not spread the virus to others. Well, duh?

Which one of these two options makes more sense?

ONE, we mitigate the virus spread by closing hundreds of thousands of businesses ... forcing many millions of productive, working citizens into unemployment ... crippling the supply chain with inevitable and pervasive shortages, and spending trillions of dollars in the short term to offset widespread financial losses.

Or, TWO, we immediately compel mass producing tens of millions of masks every day distributing by priority to epicenters and insist that everybody wear one in public whether or not symptomatic so that we do NOT spread the virus to others.

Shouldn't the second option, allowing everyone to go about their jobs and normal lives (with social distancing and frequent hand washing) have been at least attempted before closing down the country?

As I sit here under lockdown tethered to my importunate escritoire, here's a more extensive grouped list of questions for us to consider.

hearnoseeno

GENERAL

What do you think the next few weeks have in store for us?

How long do you think it will be before we get back to "normal"? Will we get back to "normal"?

Will primary and general election voting be conducted in a fair and verifiable manner, if the lockdowns persist that long?

How do we transition effectively out of these nationwide lockdowns?

ECONOMIC

What do you think will happen as a result many of America's recently unemployed receiving more funds in unemployment insurance to stay at home than they made while producing and/or serving?

Will they want to return to work for less money?

Will prices in the few open stores increase sharply?

Will injecting 2.2+ trillion into the economy along with myriad crushing closures and the ensuing multifarious repercussions eventually lead to hyper-inflation?

HEALTHCARE

Why isn't there a national concerted effort to use hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin? Why wait a full year for FDA approval of a vaccine when we can heal 90+% of the infected right now?

Why are so many hospitals nearly empty? Is the hospital business model really primarily just elective procedures? Why is ANYONE in the healthcare fields being furloughed?

Why are so many deaths with comorbidities (cancer, heart disease, etc.) only publicized and used for statistical data as caused by Covid-19?

Why aren't the mainstream media and government healthcare officials vigorously alerting the public to strengthen their immune systems with D3, vitamin C, turmeric, and zinc?

Remember a few weeks ago when President Trump said "two very smart people" came into his office and urged him to lock down the economy or 2+ million Americans would die. Social distancing directives were already in effect at the time. Then the forecasts for deaths dropped to 200K and down to 100K shortly thereafter. And just a couple of days ago, the model forecasts were dropped to 60K -- about the same as annual deaths from the flu. Why have the coronavirus models been so very wrong?

Most people are asymptomatic yet highly contagious for the first 10 days or so. Currently, we're testing about 100,000 people a day in the USA. At this rate, it will take years to test the majority of the population. Testing is crucial for slowing the spread, correct forecast modelling, determining when to send people back to work, and estimating herd immunity. Lifting sundry restrictions without an accurate estimate of how many are or have been infected and their regions, the virus would likely resume its exponential growth and we'd wind up with a second large-scale outbreak. Why aren't we doing more testing???

STRANGENESS

Massive civil unrest protests began in Hong Kong in March 2019. By July, similar large protests began in mainland China in the Wuhan travel hub. Is it just coincidence that this virus, now referred to as SARS-Cov-2, began there? (Reminder: Covid-19 is the disease name.)

The Wuhan Institute of Virology has long been strongly suspected to be a center for bio-weapons research and development. Is it just coincidence that this virus began near there?

On October 18, Johns Hopkins in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation held a "pandemic tabletop exercise" (called Event 201) to discuss a fictional coronavirus outbreak and how it would impact healthcare, economies, and society. The first case of the virus was recently determined to have been detected on November 17th, exactly 30 days later. Is this just a coincidence?

Since political campaign rallies have ended due to health concerns, will anyone remember in November that Biden consistently struggled get a few hundred attendants while Trump's rallies readily drew in many thousands?

Why are many convicted criminals being released early from jails and prisons? Isn't the likely increase in crime to our communities a higher risk to the general public than their own health risks in a highly controlled incarceration environment? Who is monitoring to determine if any violent recidivists are released early under these "compassionate" considerations.

What precautions are being taken by restaurants to ensure that their kitchen staff practices social distancing in confined spaces? Who is making certain that no infected staff are preparing food? Who is monitoring these necessary health standards?

This season CDC estimates that, as of mid-March, between 29,000 and 59,000 have died due to influenza illnesses. It's about the same every year. Why haven't we ever implemented national lockdowns for that seasonal scourge?

What else has been happening while we've all been focused on non-stop virus news coverage?

Who benefits from the sundry ramifications of our government's actions and reactions regarding this pandemic? China? Bill Gates? Democrats? Republicans? America? Others?

Remember the Frog Boil Theory? The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will immediately jump out. But if that frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will eventually be cooked to death.

For us frogs, every few days the heat is increased another notch. Yet, we are still long taxing days from the ominous boiling point. But, before the water boils, a clever chef will likely metaphorically toss in some tasty seasonings along with savory chopped carrots and celery to entice us to stay in a little longer ... just before increasing the heat the last few notches.

Most folks bemuse that the boiling water killed the frog. But, the few of us who truly understand, realize that the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out.

We know where this is headed. Our time to jump is nigh!

in 2011 I watched the last investigative reporter get laid off and blacklisted. They had uncovered stuff about Monsanto.

They are all owned - all profit based.

Pharma is media is food, is education, is economy -

No free speech.

Even here it is monitored.

Nothing that isn't profit based is pushed.

The goal is lifetime customers for "health".

It breaks my heart.

In the 70's a study was done to find out what caused heart disease and why it was the leading killer for Americans.

The Gov paid for it - a Senator or Congressman was put in charge of the study. Results were too much meat and dairy.

The meat and dairy industry lobbied, threatened, lawyered up and eventually got the report so edited it didn't even say anything anymore.

The result was that people were moved to cereal for breakfast - instead of bacon and ham and sausage to a degree.

50 years later - still # 1 killer of Americans.

(until this year.)

Prime example of how one decision can kill millions exponentially.

Re: Cabin Fever: Things That Make You Go Hmmm
Why aren't the mainstream media and public officials strongly promoting good immune system health, e.g. D3, vitamin C, zinc, turmeric, regular exercise, healthy weight, and good hygiene?

IMMUNE SYSTEM OPTIMISATION

D3, vitamin C, zinc, turmeric, etc. are cheap as chips. No one makes more than a minimal profit off them.

Ditto regular exercise, healthy weight, and good hygiene.

The medical system is CLUELESS about nutrition. It's run by big pharma for their own massive profit.

It really is that simple. And sick and twisted.

VIRUS TREATMENT

See above.
Plus the idiots in charge are still trying to do the herd immunity thing on the quiet.

COVID19 vs INFLUENZA

Human beings are addicted to drama. A global pandemic is far more interesting than mostly elderly people dying every year of flu. It's all very sick and twisted.

Plus, to continue your analogy, there are always dire crimes that never get the publicity they need to stop them. They're not important enough to TPTB and to the majority.

N95 MASKS

Establishing herd immunity was the option chosen by TPTB. Until it was obvious that the virus was going to overwhelm the health systems in each country. These systems were not prepped. In the UK because the gvt refused them money in 2016 to enable preps. In other places like the US, prepping would eat into shareholders' profits.

It's all very sick and twisted. Again, money of far more important than people's health.

GENERAL

We will never get back to "normal". A new normal will develop. But life will never be like it was before.

Elections? Whatever makes you think they make an iota of difference?

ECONOMIC

If they have any sense people on furlough won't go back to work - if there are enough jobs to go around, which I doubt.

This situation is very convenient as far as introducing Universal Basic Income is concerned.

Of course there will be price changes, up and down.Everything will level out in time. Probably sooner rather than later.

Hyperinflation is very unlikely on the scale you seem to imagine. They won't let that happen. It can only lead to war.

HEALTHCARE

Once more, it's all sick and twisted.See above.

COVID19 statistics have to be boosted with existing morbidity deaths. High numbers to justify the drama.

COVID19 statistics are all over the place. China started it all off with lies, so it shall continue.

Why look to MSM to tell the truth?

Testing is anathema to establishing herd immunity which is what TPTB want. Note that herd immunity is the cheapest, most murderous way to deal with this pandemic.

STRANGENESS
Isn't it just more of the same with extra added drama so that the masses call for extreme solutions?

There are few restrictions on criminals, restaurants, media briefings etc etc because herd immunity agenda.

As ever the big boys win. The Johns Hopkins game was actually a real time planning conference. Heinous.

Who knows what else has been going on behind the scenes? This drama has successfully occluded whatever it is just as it was designed to.

CHINA

How are we going to deal with this country's grossly anti-social and predatory effects on the world, its people and the environment?

in 2011 I watched the last investigative reporter get laid off and blacklisted.

Keen insight. Thanks for this info.

Did you personally know that investigative reporter who was looking into Monsanto?

Until this lockdown, I had not idea the number of yearly flu deaths were 30k+ just in the US. If the number of flu deaths is that high with numerous yearly flu vaccines; and most flu vaccines are only about 30% effective why bother to create a Covid vaccine.

I only got the flu vaccine once about 10 years ago, it was the only year I ended up getting the flu. I believe in healthily eating, vitamins and exercise to stay well. I will never take any flu vaccine.

They would never conduct a study to see how many people who get the flu vaccine have Covid19, but it would be interesting to see the correlation.

This is a crisis that will have the sheep public begging for the latest vaccine. No doubt it will be a vaccine that all must get to be in school, hold a job, etc. Keeping big pharmaceutical corporations well funded.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear."

Nothing to add, just thanks for this.

I admit, most of the stuff that gets posted here on GLP goes over my head and I end up with nothing gained.

Your post was thoughtfully written and it helped me navigate a little better about what may be transpiring.

Thanks.
