They live outside Beijing in a smaller city in China Quoting: Dawnvision First, the kids told me that they were not allowed to eat any pork or chicken, and they couldn’t go outside. I asked for clarification, but they didn’t know if dad the doctor banned it himself, or the government. I typed a text note about the Lancet article during class. He might have access to that as a doctor and researcher. He writes about cancer. Pork accounts for over 60% of the Chinese diet. China has taken massive steps to lock this down and now it makes sense. The virus can be transmitted via animals to pigs and chicken. Many get their meat slaughtered at market. So it’s not bat meat that’s the major carrier, it is probably the chicken and pork. THEREFORE do not eat any livestock from China that has just been slaughtered. Sounds bizarre, but if a doctor is banning all meat, this is a HUGE problem. the had pig ebola, and they are currently going through a bird flu epidemic with chickens. this is the reason. |

Some CV has been transmitted among birds. This could be bad news. Imagine a bird pooping on your roof and the runoff has the virus in it. I think I will erect a large net over my chicken yard to keep out wild birds. Already have a net to prevent hawks from taking young chickens. Will also begin slaughtering excess birds. I need to do that anyway. Drakes (male ducks) are pretty useless and a lot of my chickens are beyond their laying prime years. |

So why should an animal be murdered to get the same calories and amino acids you can get from plants? If you MUST have flesh, there's plenty humans out there. Pick one. |

Might be bullshit though. :DOCSRBAFFLED::redblueLED::DONTBEAPANDEMICS: Only you can stop the fake pandemic for yourself, no one will ever tell you the pandemic is over. It's time to WIN. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 21423850 United States 02/28/2020 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The problem is not eating chicken or pork. Cook that stuff all the way through and you will be fine. Get a meat thermometer and check if you are unsure. The problem lies with how it affects the farmers' livestock. Flu virus can do a few things: live animals can spread it to people, and if there is no livestock we lose the perfect protein source and there will be famine. Culling pigs and chickens means less food, plain and simple. And with the locusts eating everything that man and beats need to stay alive we are entering an age of famine. In the long run this is far more serious. |

No virus can survive a good cooking. You have to think of how others eat food especially from Out of Country, China for one. Remember, they eat Damn Dogs and are some nasty folks. I was a food inspector. Just Make sure it's thoroughly cooked. Follow the guidelines for any meats You'll be fine. Jed Eckert: C'mon! We're all going to die, die standing up!
