QUOTE
It’s been three years since the death of LaVoy Finicum and questions still abound.
With the anniversary of Finicum’s death today (Jan 26th), it seems like an opportune time to discuss the topic again.

When one talks about the Bundy Family, the first thing that springs to mind is the standoff in Nevada in 2014. However, perhaps even more important is the standoff and occupation at Oregon’s Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in 2016. Indeed, the two events are often conflated because Ammon Bundy is the son of Cliven Bundy, the man who stood up to the federal government over “grazing fees” on Bureau of Land Management land.

The occupation was a highlight for both the militia and the sovereign citizen movement as well as proponents of states’ rights. The main argument from those occupying the land is that the federal government is mandated by law to turn over the land that they manage to the individual states in which the land sits. This, they argued, was particularly true of the Bureau of Land Management, United States Forestry Service, and United States Fish and Wildlife Service land.

The 2016 Oregon standoff was over two ranchers convicted of arson on federal lands – despite the fact that the men, a father and son pair named Dwight and Steven Dwight Hammond, did not want their support. CLOSE QUOTE

If you ask the general public they probably never heard of Lavoy. And anyone that did would say he was a domestic terrorist.

On the other hand most people loved Kobe and know him as a celebrity. Even in China he was the most beloved American basketball player.

Re: R.I.P Lavoy Finicum (3 Years Today)
I have thought of him many times over the last few years as the tale of corruption has come out regarding the US government.

I was just learning about the constitution when I ran across Lavoy and his channel. He has a lot of videos...well he had, for all I know they may be taken down now, but he was all about helping the common man know his rights and the law of the land.

I recall one video in particular where he was upset and the firefighters had taken all of his water that he needed for his cows...he spoke about how although he didn't mind them taking some, now he didn't have water for his cows. He mentioned something in that video that I had never even thought of, and that was uranium drill sites and link between that and the federal government trying to change the grazing rights for farmers like him.

Although that wasn't his main topic of conversation often, I think it all comes back to the uranium scandal we all learned about later and what he had figured out was going on.

After he was killed and as awful as that was anyhow when the story about selling US uranium came out right away I thought about what he had said in that video and how he was killed probably for that very reason.

People can say all they want about him 'reaching for his gun' or anything else, if you watch his videos you will realize he wasn't like that and he was a patriot. He trusted in local sheriffs which is why he was trying to make it to the sheriffs, the feds knew that also which is why they ambushed him first. They needed him to stop telling his truth and to stop coming so close to exposing the massive scandal in progress. Money money money

Thank you for bringing him up. I didn't recall that it had been three years but just yesterday for some reason I was talking about this.
