With such vague informations and poor English of the Twitter account, it's difficult to determine the meaning of the operation. It's likely the aforementioned helicopter escort or a possible evacuation of US personnel from Iraq. The Kurds, peshmerga and Syrian forces have not reported any activity. |

There is no news coverage on this, no Trump tweets, no on the ground reports. No updates from real people. OP and everyone, there is no doom, just another day in Iraq. BTW, the PM of Iraq apologized for the attack and blamed it on protesters. Muqada Al Sadr also retracted his support for the protest movement so it sounds like the Iraqi government is now buddy buddy with the US.....at least not demanding they leave Iraq.
