Why the fuck is Carter dying? I said no more of that nonsense.

When somebody in their mid 90s starts falling a lot and breaking hips, they're at the end. However, as far as I know, he's very much alive....hence my confusion about the half mast flags I saw on the way home from work. Just a thought...somebody's jumping the gun on this deal.
