Perhaps I might add that RH- isnt really defined as a blood type (though it should) .... its a FACTOR meaning it straddles blood types.

You might think your blood type is on file somewhere or that you could ask your doctor. Wrong. It’s like it’s classified info! My doctor stuttered through a weak soundng explanation of why I could not get a blood test to find out. “It is not necessary.” That was the message. That I do not need to know.

I found a few things about this doctor that I didnt like. Mainly that I think they are a transwoman. They did a shamefully inept attempt at a pap smear that I think was deliberately done to upset me.

You have no idea what it is like being a target. They can try to hit you in so many ways.

Wtf? You can buy an ABO kit for like 10 bucks...

Except their is no such thing as monkey blood... educate yourself. Rh has NOTHING to do with monkeys.

I also have O negative. The reason why they want our blood so bad is that anyone no matter the blood type can receive our blood. It takes time to find the type of someone's blood, so when they don't know a person's type and they have no time to wait they give them O negative. This can happen for adult patients but mainly the thing with babies is that if they need blood right after they are born since they have never been blood typed they give them O negative.

Bullshit. They can tell blood type before conception now. Just like spina bifida, etc. O- is the universal donor though, primarily because it is "generic" blood with no positive antigens to cause a reaction in negative people.

No it's because type B and A blood (pos and neg) only make up like 15% of the population. They always need A, B and AB of both rh factors.

RH- blood should sell for several billion dollars a drop.
certainly an ounce should buy a starship complete with fuel and competent crew to navigate multiple universes !

Over the last 10,00 years,..genetic mutations have happened.

It involved blue/green eye manifestations as well as a RH- blood type manifestations.

I'm O RH neg but my child's father was O RH pos...

When pregnant with my child, I had to have a RHOGAM shot even though they done an amniotic fluid test on my child, my child is O RH neg same as me...

I find it very strange how he didn't inherit his father's blood type considering how RH pos is more dominant than the RH neg type...

I asked my doc about this and he clearly was stumped...
