Dead pets do comeback to visit you if you really loved them and miss them.
Back in 2011, I was 28, been out of job for 5 years and was living on my savings. Growing up I was never really into cats and never thought kittens were cute. Ive always loved puppies and dogs.

On Oct 2011, I heard cats fighting in my parents back yard at night so I opened the door and I saw my first real lifs kitten running away. He looked to be about 10 weeks old. He was black and looked so fuzzy. Turned out he was fighting with his sister for the bugs. I felt so sorry and worried about them so weeks later I started to buy them dry food on a weekly basis.

I normally left the dry food out for them to eat. At the time I was new with cats and didn't understand what would happened if I fed cats. Well fast forward, they brought all their friends and by the winter of 2012 there were 14 cats all from the neighborhood that came to eat the dry food I had placed outside.

Took money out of my own pocket and time to trap them and get them all fixed as well. Thought everything was great until 2013. One of the cats showed up to my parents feeding station with a limp. I saw on the survalence camera live how she was limping and couldn't move. she ate and stayed at one place for 2 hours to relax. Normally she just ate and left. I finally was able to trap her 3 days later, that was one of the most stressful days of my life by the way.

Took her to the vet and the vet showed me x-rays of what happened to her leg. It was snapped in half because someone shot her with a pellet gun. You can still see the metal debris in the x-rays. The vet said it would cost 1.5k to perform surgery on her leg which meant they will add a metal bar in her leg.

I was like what the fuck, I don't even know this cat. It's just some random feral in the neighborhood. I said fuck it, let's do it. I didn't even have a place of my own to move this cat in with me. I was living at home with Mom and Dad and I knew it was an automatic no no. I knew my mom would be pissed too. But when you love something, you'll find a way to make it work no matter what.

I didn't ask my mom or my dad but I just moved her in the sun room, bought a portable ac, decorated the sun room with cat trees and cat toys and she was set. My parents were fucking pissed when they came home and saw that I had adopted a cat. I didn't care what they said or how much yelling I took, for some reason I loved this cat.

I wasn't able to rescue the other 13 but I loved all of them as well and from 2013 to 2018, I've been with this cat every day in the sun room. I know when she's walking by my leg without seeing her. I know when to pet her when she's on the corner of my eye.

Well, in 2018, one of the 13 outdoor cats that I was feeding had a cold. I took him to the vet and he was misdiagnosed and ended up dying. Before he died, I took him home and made an empty room in my parents house for him. Yes you can bet my parents were pissed again. I really loved him. He was insperable from his son. After he died, my life took a bad turn. It sunk me into really bad depression.

I came to the realization that if God can make him on this physical plane that we live, God can make him again in the next life. One day, a week after he died, I started seeing what I thought was my cat , Mary at the corner of my eye. I reached out to pet her, and I'm like, that's strange she's not there. I turn my head only to see her on her cat tree. I kept seeing a cat in the corner of my eye just walk by throughout the area just thinking it was my cat but when I call out for her, she was totally in a different are. I reason why I kept thinking it was my cat is because they were both the same pattern. Cow cats. I didn't think anything of it until I heard a lady talk about how pets someone's visit us after they have died. It didn't occur to me that it was him until this year. I know it was him because I felt and saw the presence of a cat thinking it was my cat but it was his spirit.

And yes, I'm 36 now and yes I do have a stable job. But at this point, sometimes I'm at work and think about him it makes me cry.

My dog Baxter died a month and a half ago from lymphoma, and I'm still heart broken. I cry often and pray every night that I might feel his presence or at the very least, just have a nice dream about him. It hasn't happened. I wish it would. :(

22 years ago I had a border collie called Zack.

We were together for two years but one day we had no choice but to move and the only place we could find would not allow pets.

So I put an ad in the paper for a good home for Zack.

A person replied who had a female collie who wanted to breed her. Both were pure bred with papers.

So I toom zack to meet his new wife...he was soooo happy. But he also knew we had to part ways...the way he looked at me..a tear in his eye.

I hugged him and told him hkw good he was and how brave he was and how happy he was going to be as a daddy dog.

A year later we dropped in to see how he was getting on...and he was healthy and happy and surrounded by puppies.

His wife..Sheena...was so beautiful..and the puppies were so bright and intelligent like their daddy.

So I said my final farewell to Zack..but it wasnt final.

Zack would have died from old age sometime in the last 5 years.

Anyways...I was doing some work for this bloke way out west and the nextdoor neighbours dog had pups.

Never paid em much attention really..too busy working.

People would come every day to look at the pups...and one by one they went to new homes.

10 puppies all up...all tan with dark eyes...except one.

He was dark with bright blue eyes.

They called him smokey...and he never went near anyone. Sat off by himself just watching the other go one by one.

He was waiting...waiting...for ME.

The neighbour called me over one day and said "would ya like a pup..ive got 4 left. But dont worry about smokey over there...he never goes near anyone..always runs away and just stares at the gate".

So I said..."ok..ill have a look at em".

The remaining puppiez..except the loner...all came running up and wagging and carrying on...but none of them really grabbed my attention.

I was looking at lil Smokey off in the corner just watching...and then I had a hunch..something in his eyes..they way he tilted his head...i KNEW this dog somehow.

So I called out "smokey..come here mate"...he ignored me..but he did react..his ears popped up...like he knew my voice.

So I said "Come here Zack..come have a hug"..

And right away he sped over to me wagging his tail furiously and leapt up into my arms...and he licked my face non stop for a full minute.

Mick said "he never answered to Smokey...or any other name..and you are the first person he has ever gone to...he is YOUR DOG alright. Its like he knows you and was waiting for you to turn up".

And...Mick was right.

Its my old boy Zack come back to me. Different brees...but definatley the same dog.

Same personality...same loyalty...same mannerisms...same dovotion.

Its my dog Zack come back to me.

Very ironic seeing this thread because just this afternoon I was getting into my car at a store and 2 cars over there was an all black German Shepherd in the back seat and I swear it was the spitting image of our family shepherd that we lost last year at the age of 12 and a half. Such an immense feeling of loss for me and my family. It took us this long to decide if we even wanted to get another after the loss, but we are indeed actively looking for a new pup!

when you're more calm about it,you'll have a visit--sometimes you truly have to let them go.
a lady i never even met before told me "one of your dogs will come back" and wouldn't answer how she knew i have dogs/had dogs and which one would come back ? she simply said it again. was a tibetan lady.

well, about 10 weeks ago i had to euthanise my girl,my baby bear etc due to a severe seizure problem-ooo boy, only 3 years old--it was very hard to deal with-i was very undecided if to go the route of getting anothr dog --knew it definitely helps BUT the life death cycle gets repeated-well... i couldn't take it anymore and saw the ad for sheepdogs mixed puppies-went and got a very quiet one LOL,-date she's born is the date my princess was put down and she IS my dobermann dog's spirit, intellect, manners etc-he's gone a long time but definitely one of my dog's came back and i would have been ecstatic over any one of them returning. some were ding dongs LOL and some were extremely intelligent. loved them all and grieved their passing.

don't fight it anymore,Baxter is fine, and you will dream of him letting you know he's all right but has to go now-
dreamed that way with another 1-the dream was so real-he came, played with his friend (always have at least 2 dogs together, right now the puppy and my 18 year old who's FINE,still active ) like large dogs do,the rough play, the sounds their chokers would make, their feet etc-and in the dream i called out to him not to leave but it was understood HE understood what had happened-was poisoned and went into liver and kidney failure so things were tried and failed,he ws suffering and had to be euthanised, and NOW he had to go-the dream was so real.brief but real,
we cannot control or program our dreams but definitely when you're not so stressed,it will happen.
he's fine. why wouldnt he be ?
and OP ? 2 of my deceased cats made their appearance, real quick LOL but let me see them walk thru the wall LOL --no drugs or alcohol either--split second show LOL they were in a way transparent-i miss them all..not grieving, simply miss seeing and interacting w/them as they're all distinct personalities.

Re: Dead pets do comeback to visit you if you really loved them and miss them.
My dog has visited me 3 times since I had to put her to sleep a week ago. Buried her in a thunderstorm at a friend's farm. (BTW there's nothing like digging a grave yourself to help you get past their loss and be able to function in a positive way).

This morning she came again, put her face in mine and was all happy and wiggly like she had figured out she could be healthy and young again. It's like she was saying look mom, I don't have cancer anymore! The first two visits it was like she was still drugged from the "put to sleep" anesthesia.

I petted and hugged her energy body and bawled my eyes out.

I could only see her at first, I had layed down on the couch and was trying to go to sleep. She put her face in mine like she used to do to wake me up. Once I sat up, overjoyed that she was so much better, I could no longer see her but could feel her.

I suspect all pets visit but people unaccustomed to feeling energy, who don't do any energy work, miss it.

This has happened to me with three of my cats, but only if they died at home. All seniors.

When the last one died, I "saw" the other other two come to greet him. One did "noses" with him.

It was an "out of the corner of my eye" experience.

I loved all my fur buddies, but the last one got what seems the last of my heart.

Having to deal with vets is the worst part of having fur buddies.
