And when I say "his" I mean that he was responsible, he had the authority and he had the legal obligation to execute the duties of his appointed office.

So he was so irresponsible, so careless, so poorly disciplined that he let the contents of his own investigation leak to the very same people he was allegedly investigating?

Why wouldn't he be removed immediately? How is this not a complete failure of his assigned duty? Why would anyone trust him with anything of importance if he cannot follow whatever protocols and regulations were put in effect to faithfully execute his duty?

I want off of this carousel of insanity. I hate that as some nobody dirt person, I can see what the entire government and media complex cannot.

None of this is even remotely complicated. If you are a private in charge of guarding a motor pool and someone drives a jeep off the lot, you will be arrested and courtmartialed and this guy hasn't even been replaced after ADMITTING he failed to do his sworn duty.
