I am insane but I'm trying.

Sock puppets and the masters are an issue here. Just recently I began looking at possible pairs--I am fairly certain that I found two groups.

Although I did not see the Red karma game, they most certainly were engaged in green karma games--piling it on one another very frequently. I doubt it is a different member when the green is along with a "good morning sir" (something like that) dating back many weeks or more.

The current system can be misused too easily by people lacking morals. Glad to see some effort at nailing those degenerates.

For those that read this thread , I am sure you are seeing the aggressive and bullying , not to mention name calling , which some erroneously believe empowers their point, but in reality displays the weakness of that point , because they know it can not stand on merit alone.

This quantity is the driving force for those abusing the karma system.
Their arguments have no solid foundation in either fact nor reason , so they endeavour to empwer their bruised ego's with revenge and abuse.

Let me tell you something, when ac's were on here spamming the forum, I reported a shit ton of threads.
Threads like- Ask me a question? and then on their first post there would be a laughing smilie or some shit.
Or ( moderator name) sucks donkey dick......
Threads that really had no substance or content.
20 a day sometimes.
Now I rarely report posts unless its an obvious spammer, usually late at night or early am.
Although for the longest time I got red on my karma for being a karma whore ,blah, blah, etc.
I don't search threads looking to get karma, if I see a spammer on the first page that keeps posting bullshit just to post, that's what I report.
Hell, I've never even banned or deleted comments off my threads or reported vicious ones.
I do enjoy this place though, hell, threads like this even make my day.

Isn't the first rule of GLP Karma not to talk about GLP Karma? I made a thread about it on like the second day of mandatory membership and got a whole bunch of red for my effort lol, wasnt butthurt, just laughed at the internet, I should have seen it coming. And many people have made threads complaining about red karma in the last few months and were given many reds with the explanation of "first rule of GLP Karma, do not talk about GLP Karma".

Aren't we being hypocritical in not giving LJS a bit of the good ol' GLP red and playing along? Its all in good fun after all isn't it?

Sorry OP LJS, but as far as i know, the second rule of GLP Karma is to give red to people that complain about red haha.

I agree, we need to turn this site into a 'Safe Space' - there are so many insulting and rude people here who are oblivious to the struggles and plights of the oppressed. Criticism is for the weak minded, we should be patting each other on the back and 'liking' every post we agree with, and never disagree.

I usually only post on Reddit, HuffPo, & Politico where my views are upvoted, I'll now feel more free to post on GLP since this is a great gender neutral Safe Space.

I think they're trying to clarify rules since nobody reads them.

All negative Karma I have received has been over political opinion and included a report over abusive post over nothing.

GLP stopped anonymous posting. It should stop anonymous Karma as well. This site has clearly been attacked by leftist shills and still is to some extent.

Further if a post is reported abusive, the accused should be able to respond and an admin can review.

I'll be the first to admit, i can damn right horrible on here, but only when it's warranted, attention seeking, being on every thread and posting pointless crap constantly, the fakers, whiner's, and snitches, censoring posts, foe lists..

I've payed for myself and others to be upgraded, and I have been here longer than most, if I want to troll you for any of the above actions, I will and I will do it harshly.

Apart from that I love everyone on GLP, the god squad, the trolls, the mods, and the boss, we have achieved great things together and will continue to do so as well.

But sort these fucking idiots out.

The only part of the system that pisses me off is the people that use the system, the ones who misinterpret what is written and because their tiny, little NPC minds can't grasp a concept properly they fling out red karma.

If you understood my post and decided to whip out some red, fine by me, but if it seems you missed the entire point and still redded my ass, well, that's my only issue with it.

Also, for those of you wanting to abolish the red, it does serve it's purpose. I know I put more thought into my posts knowing reds are a possibility. It helps me to think, simplify and construct complete sentences.

P.S. I am not driven by the system, the tail is not wagging the dog, BUT I do weigh it in when posting.
