First in person job interview in TEN years tomorrow...
What’s changed? Should I still bring a hard copy of my resume? I literally just realized it’s been that long since I’ve had to do this. I’m qualified (maybe way overqualified) but I need a damn paycheck. Tips?? Anyone😳

Always dress to the T. I'd take one if you know it's done well. Good luck!

Today we need a nation of minute men; men who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life..

John F. Kennedy, 1961

The ideal ruler will recruit men superior to himself as teachers;the worst will employ only slaves.

Look up interview questions on Glassdoor ahead of time, practice your answers. Print out sample interview questions from the web. Study the "about" section of the company's website so you know their history in case they ask why you picked them/want to work for them.

I felt bad for this guy at my last one. I shit you not, it looked like he just got up from sleeping in a ditch. Hair every which way, mud and dirt all over his pants and jacket. The others jeans and shorts.

I'll bet you won't do well. You are too impatient. If you can't wait 11 minutes for a response on a message board then you won't be qualified to conduct yourself in a normal setting of a job interview.

Yeah, OP could walk in and pull out the old: "I like to ask the questions at my own interview so I can make an informed and considered decision whether this is gonna a good fit." You're probably gonna be dealing with a Lumberg anyway so you should be able to hit it out the park.

Anyhow, good luck!
