New Border Patrol Policy Shortens Visiting Time For Divided Families At Friendship Park

The amount of time that family members separated by the U.S.-Mexico border are allowed to spend at Friendship Park has been limited by a Border Patrol policy announced this week.

The park, also known as Friendship Circle, is located in the southwestern corner of San Diego between two border fences and allows family members and friends on either side of the border to talk to each other through metal fencing that separates the two countries.
