His response was weak, everything he’s done is weak, Q and Dilley’s source say to trust him and Wraye (but I’ve read credible explanations as to him being threatened and turned, don’t trust him). With the amount of sealed indictments, he’s been doing something. Dude, in case you don't remember it was Trump that hired Sessions, Rosentein, Wray and all the other swamp creatures on his WH staff!

There seems only two possible reasons Trump is placing swamp creatures in so many key positions:
(1) Trump is not smart enough or capable enough to make good personnel decisions.
(2) Trump knows who these people are--that's why he hires them.

Stop for a minute and ignore what Trump says and watch what he actually does. (1) Did NOT end DACA on day one, actually stepped in to AMMNESTY 1.8 million illegals when it appeared federal court was going to wipe out DACA (2) Has NOT built a wall although he has over one million active duty military and 37K Army Corp of Engineers already on the payroll and fully capable to build a border wall if directed by Trump (3) Trump has NOT directed appointment of Special Counsels to investigate Clinton emails, FISA abuse, corruption in FBI and DOJ etc etc (4) Trump has NOT until recently allowed ICE to conduct interior enforcement against 30 million illegals with exception of a few thousand criminal illegals (5) Trump has NOT done anything about NAFTA (6) Trump HAS secretly continued Obama's policy of "catch and release" allowing thousands and thousands more illegals into the USA (7) and the list goes on.

All the above within Trump's authority as POTUS WITHOUT any action by Congress.

A reasonable person may well conclude Trump is all talk and little action and or Trump is actually part of the swamp!

I have thought that Session's demeanor was due to him seeing firsthand some evil stuff (video evidence, etc) and that he knew he had to tread carefully and not leave any loose ends untied, while remaining non threatening to possible sources of info.

If he has seen evidence of people committing real evil, then has to be in the same room with those people, it could explain a sense of unease.

Maybe I am suffering from cognitive dissonance and making excuses.

I just think that someone in his position, who really wants to get results and understands how deep and wide the tentacles go would be more apt to want to fly under the radar given the dangerous circustamces.

We will see.

This is what I hope is really going on. I also hope Meuller is playing them. I grew up in DC and worked in the military, government and contracting. Nothing is as it seems and people who get anywhere (if they can remain clean) have to keep their cards very close to their chests.

We don't need "perfect". We need people who are not involved in high crimes to run the FBI. This isn't a case of some inept bungling newby making a mistake. This is the top officials at the FBI, DOJ, and a presidential campaign intentionally breaking the law to influence the highest election in the nation.

There is a big difference between "not perfect" and criminal. If the Attorney General doesn't understand that then it's time for him to resign or be fired.
