There seems only two possible reasons Trump is placing swamp creatures in so many key positions: (1) Trump is not smart enough or capable enough to make good personnel decisions. (2) Trump knows who these people are--that's why he hires them. Stop for a minute and ignore what Trump says and watch what he actually does. (1) Did NOT end DACA on day one, actually stepped in to AMMNESTY 1.8 million illegals when it appeared federal court was going to wipe out DACA (2) Has NOT built a wall although he has over one million active duty military and 37K Army Corp of Engineers already on the payroll and fully capable to build a border wall if directed by Trump (3) Trump has NOT directed appointment of Special Counsels to investigate Clinton emails, FISA abuse, corruption in FBI and DOJ etc etc (4) Trump has NOT until recently allowed ICE to conduct interior enforcement against 30 million illegals with exception of a few thousand criminal illegals (5) Trump has NOT done anything about NAFTA (6) Trump HAS secretly continued Obama's policy of "catch and release" allowing thousands and thousands more illegals into the USA (7) and the list goes on. All the above within Trump's authority as POTUS WITHOUT any action by Congress. A reasonable person may well conclude Trump is all talk and little action and or Trump is actually part of the swamp! It must be so weird, having painted yourself into a corner of unwavering Trump-hate, you must now resort to claiming Trump has your priorities as his priorities, and this is grounds to dismiss him. Do you question your value as a human being? Or do you just accept that you are sub-human garbage, and roll out of bed every morning with the knowledge that today, you're just going to be more repulsive than you were yesterday? Too slow for some, I know. I think its possible that many people stepping down (the list is long, I saw it recently) is getting things done in a way that doesn't rile up intense backlash. The only downside is that those who deserve the credit are not getting it. These resignations are not happening in a vacuum. I think Sessions has played a part, as well as Nunes. Devin Nunes was never publicized as some badass swamp cleaner. But he has done the right thing and accomplished much without a lot of fanfare. |

I understand the President Trump may ask people he's screening - to probe just how loyal they'll be (or not) - "are you on my team?" If so, that by itself is way too vague and overly general. Most people focus on whether another person is a certain race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, etc. But in terms of whether a person is liberal or conservative, or exactly how much to the left or right a person is? Most people treat that as too personal or potentially embarrassing. They treat the political orientation of one another as similar to being curious about how bad or good someone's breath or body odor is. . . |

Almost every headline is designed to inflame opinion against anyone in Trump admin.
