Women drive cars in Iran. There are many female college students. And Iranian women are known to excel in science, in filmmaking, in art and in chess. The down side is that while it is easy for a husband to divorce a wife, it is very difficult for a woman to get permission to divorce her husband. Also, the husband does not have to get his wife's permission for him to marry up to 3 additional wives and bring them into the home. Also, under Shariah law, a female witness's testimony in court is only worth half that of a man. And although there are female lawyers in Iran, there are no female judges under the current government. There were female judges in Shah Pahlavi's time. |

They are attempting to paint it in this picture but it is not so. Since the three organizations you have pointed to HAVE had so much activity in the past few decades organizing revolutions, it would make plenty of sense that they would be doing it again, but I think this is not true. I will say that I could be wrong, but it feels very different to me. One must only look at a few factors to see that it is not Western Intelligence driven. 1. The relative size of the protests is not very big, at the moment. This actually points to it being an organic, and not “pushed” movement. If it was backed by the CIA or others, it would have lasted and been much bigger. 2. They arrested Mahmoud. Mahmoud would never work for or with any Western Intelligence agency. 3. The CIA cannot get away with the same things under Trump that it did under its predecessors. Trump does not believe in this type of revolution. You might laugh, but it is true. He is all for natural and organic, which this is. He knows this, that is why he is openly suppporting it. Same with Netanyahu. 4. Lack of media coverage in the US. If it was pushed by the CIA or other intelligence agencies, you would see a major push by the leftists, as well as mainstream media. Since Iran has recently been totally overtaken actually by the CIA and intelligence agencies and the DEEP State, they want to see stablization in Iran, along with China (who has forced their media to remain silent) and Russia. Both have major investments in Iran and do not want to see a revolution. 5. I am studying specifically on Iranian revolutions at this moment and Middle Eastern revolutions in general so I can sort of feel when one is organic or non-organic. In my opinion, this is a natural revolution. That means things have gotten bad enough to generate people willing to risk their lives to change this system and government. This means that it is worth supporting. I would never support what I considered to be a “fake revolution”. I was HEAVILY against the Syrian uprising because of how fake it actually was. 6. We have entered a new paradigm. The new paradigm is that people don’t want to be told how to live their lives any longer. Any state, country, or religon that attempts to force their people to live their life this way or that is destined to fall from this point forward. Iran is just up next for reformation. The final big one to fall will probably be China. In between we will see others, Germany, etc. What you all think? Still think this is the same as the past few decades? I do not. For some reason, perhaps the strength of the Iranian people that allows them to live even in the worst of conditions, revolutions tend to happen organically quite often in Iran. I think that even the leaders are unaware of when it is about to happen, the boiling point goes rapidly when it is ready though. What we have seen is just the beginning and there is nothing they can really do at the moment to stop it... If anything, there was actually two sets of protesters going on. One, was completely organic and natural. Another did seem to be “fake”, but these “fake” ones were just to confuse the people. They ultimately also will fail. Let me be the first to say #FreeAhmadinejad “If you strike me down, I will become stronger than you can possibly imagine.” - Ahmadinejad was apparently overheard saying as the new Savak was taking him away. Apparently the Supreme Leader (no Star Wars pun intended) has not actually seen Star Wars. Thread: Breaking: Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been arrested, must have been paid off by Trump or Bibi. LOL yeah right. Last Edited by EA on 01/06/2018 04:18 PM EA |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76021035 United States 01/06/2018 05:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The London-based Arabic daily paper Al-Quds Al-Arabi reports this morning that former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been arrested by security forces for allegedly inciting unrest against the government, according to "reliable sources in Tehran." Quoting: me777 The paper describes the former president's arrest in the southwest city of Shiraz as coming after a series of provocative statements given in support of anti-government protests that have gripped the country for more than a week, and that his detention was granted approval by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Starting early in the protests, Ahmadinejad, who led the nation from 2005 to 2013 and has long been considered a hardliner, made public statements denouncing the Rouhani government as well as the clerical establishment as being detached from the daily reality of ordinary Iranians. I also think the Supreme Leader has a good heart. But the rest of the Iranian government is very suspicious. The unrest among the people is likely genuine and justified, but is also probably infiltrated etc. by outside Zionist backed forces. The whole situation is not so black and white. There are corrupted elements in Iran, but also well-meaning anti-Zionist people as well. |
