To be fair Ebola wasn’t a hoax it was just that the press didn’t understand the vehicles involved in spreading the virus.

I spoke at the time of the Ebola outbreak to a Swiss physician who is the owner of three hospitals in Switzerland and on the international boards of umpteen medical think tanks and he said at the time it’s no problem because Ebola is passed through fluids.

This on the other hand is the nightmare scenario, as it’s passed through the air.

You can’t compare this situation to the Ebola outbreak.

2 problems with this disease. 1st some think since it kills the hosts so fast ,they won't infect others. i think the opposite is true.since it kills so fast it can easily be misdiagnosed thereby helping it spread more. if u think the person had a cold or the flu,you would go to work and carry on like normal instead of self-quarantining.plus Dr.'s will also not b sure without added tests. this means the disease can run longer before it is noticed.it will b everywhere before the news tells the ppl.
2nd since it is airborne,it can infect faster without close contact.in a hospitalwithout qauarantine procedures this is deadly.
in 24 hrs a disease like this can cover the world.1 sick person gets onto a plane. walks though the airport and touches doors,walls,counters,etc. this infects say 5 more. those 5 do the same thing to the next city or airport. take these cities atlanta,denver,chicago,LA,NY,dallas and run 5 lines away from them. you now have a spiderweb crisscrossing the country.
say u go get gas and pay the 1 cashier. how many ppl did u have contact with? how far did u touch? that 1 cashier had how many customers during their shift??? times the number of ppl those customers had contact with in the last 24 hrs??? with all the business traveling,high school and pro sports,trucking,etc, in 1 day a person could reach europe clear to america easily. touch the door at the gas station and every person who touched it plus every place those ppl touched.

Let me tell those of you who aren't concerned why you should be.If a global outbreak occurs it wont matter that it can be cured.The sheer number of infected can stall medical care and if doctors get sick there wont be anyone to administer the treatments.If the number of infected increases faster than the treatment can be created and administered then millions will die.
